I didn't hear them say anything, I spent the first half of the song trying to figure it out, then I just had to laugh and enjoy it.
Playing a Christmas song at summer solstice does have a balance to it though?

Could someone remember on which song in Trieste Eddy went down to share wine on Mike's side?... And mike then went down to the crowd also, do you remember at which moment?!... Red fish memory, but would like to remember this great moment in show for me (Cause I taste the wine!)

Take a look at the big screens, they are a different shape to PJ.

This was the best rock n roll concert I have ever been to, period. From the setlist to the crowd it was awesome. The moshing and the crowd surfing was great, even for a near 40 year old fan like myself. There were no assholes in the inner circle, just a lot of energy and bouncing up and down. We ended up right in between Eddy and Mike four back from the rail. The energy from the crowd fed the band. I couldn't wipe the smile off my face, as I protected my lovely little woman from the pit lol.
Two highlights I must speak of in this show. The second last song of the night was Rockin in the Free World and I had been handing out some small rubber Canadian Flag Pins before the show (those of you who got one will remember ). So I threw one to Eddie's feet as he was singing and he had an inquisitive look on his face and picked it up, smiled and pinned it to his shirt pocket. As he sang he held it up although it was far to small to make out from the pit. Truly a magical moment for a longtime PJ fan.
The other is that we are also two other Jammers who have seen Let Me Sleep twice since 94 as we were also at the Seattle show in December. . The previous poster can add us to that short list!
We both want to thank the band and the crowd for making us forget about anything else for almost 3 hours and feeling like kids again. It was written all over their faces, we give them as much as they give us. Thanks Trieste for a concert I will never forget!

He was talking about Johnny Ramone. "Come Back" was written for him.

I have no idea what Ed said because I wasn't there, but I do know that his uncle John Vedder passed away in May, in Phoenix AZ, where I'm from. Saw it in the online Phoenix newspaper.

Wasn't oslo more special with garden, footsteps, strange tribe....?! I personnally have enjoyed all my shows since the first one in 2009 in London (and the first one will ever be special..)
