saw all 4 shows in Europe and this one was THE best to me. Great sound, the atmosphere was magic, the venue looks beautiful from the floor and the band played amazingly well ^:)^0

Interesting way to put it... what made the audience laugh is that she actually shouted what in Italian sounds like "fucking asshole"Sea said:
Encore Break 1
(Ed thanks the audience for inviting them to this beautiful city. He thanks the touring crew and the local crew. He notes that after only five days in Italy his youngest daughter already knows how to shout things in Italian to rude people.)... and the will to show I will always be better than before.0 -

Hey Faeza, I think we met there. I am the Turkish guy. Cheers to you and the nice guy who was with you. (Michael, if I remember correct)FaezaM said:I was 2 rows back in Milan on Mike's side and 10 rows back in Trieste but in front of Eddie and I've got to say the crowd, the amazing people I met, and energy of this show was incredible. Yes, it felt like 1994. Freaking crowd Surfing and moshing!!!!! I was twitching to get lifted up on State of Love and Trust.
I was lucky enough to meet a bunch of nice people from different nationalities who had a lot of high energy and we had a blast together.
Faeza is right, it was like we got into a time tunnel and was reliving the kind of shows of incredible energy from early 90's, that we see from YouTube videos today. All that jumping, dancing and singing for 2.5 hours. No ways to describe the energy at GA area.
I never thought I would have such a blast, I just wish to live a night like this once more again. It was that unique and incredible.
The band built on the energy of the crowd and was so tight, I think this will be a good boot for the collectors. .)
The setlist turned out to be not as I expected. I expected some rarities but the band played a lot of energy songs, in line with the crowd.
One caveat was the nice guy from Canada, who got sick during the show, I hope he feels better now.
One thing for true: I will never forget this show as it was one of the best 2.5 hours of my life.
What's your part, who you are?
2012: Arras, Berlin 1-2
2013: Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires
2014: Milano, Trieste, Vienna, Berlin

exactly!meme said:You never know before hand which show is going to be THE ONE...In my mind, Trieste was going to be Milan's little sister, in terms of size of the stadium, the love they have for Milan, and the fact that I grew up a few yards from San Siro. But boy did little sister BLOW ME AWAY!
I have been to 21 shows. Magic ones for setlists (Grand Rapids 06), magic ones for atmosphere and significance (PJ20), magic ones for crowds (many Italian ones, MSG)... but I have NEVER seen so much energy on stage. It was absolutely incredible. Keep in mind that Ed seemed to be struggling with knee issue and pain in Milan. HE WAS A DIFFERENT PERSON last night... they rocked so hard, the pit was crazy. Ed shared his sadness over the passing of his friend, and essentially brought us in to make things better. It was a deep, energetic hymn to survival and living in the moment.
It was perfect rock and roll. And then they played Crown of Thorns. The jams to RVM and Porch were unbelieavable... Seriously... this may be our favorite shows ever. Thank you best band in the world, thank you Ed for wearing your heart on your sleeve so that you can make your own struggles as instruments to help with our own. Unforgettable show, well worth the long drives from Milan. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
The words "never give up...." Between State and Life wasted are still travelling in my brain since yesterday...
I think realise hé's very Lucky and happy and share this positive love energy with all of us... Waou!
