I wish we could get some sort of confirmation that this is it for 2014.

It would seem to be. None of those markets seem likely to get a second show, like Worcester did. Let's just throw in Bridge School, since it's the weekend following Denver. That would make 32 shows for calendar 2014--the most since 2006.

~30 shows a year is the new normal, has been for a while. The days of a mega-tour and two years off are gone; at least this way you can get your fix every year, although it may involve time off work or air travel or both. If this limited schedule keeps the band fresh and interested and sane and in fine health (and voice!) then so be it.

(unless...the Cubs last home game is 9/24, they aren't close to making the playoffs, the Cubs are allowed 4 concerts a year (but only have 3 scheduled), if the band wants another crack at Wrigley, then Saturday 9/27 would work.)

BTW--I like the original schedule they posted--10 shows tonite!!

Congrats to the Midwest. now the question.......Why do they hate Florida so much! Going to be hard to get to a show this time round.

Possibly stupid question, but is it not possible to put in for both GA and Reserved to the same concert? I'd feel 100% more comfortable in my own seat, but the reduced floor sections seem pretty intimate. I'd hate to put in for GA and get shut out and left with nothing though. Bah.

You can request both; if your first choice gets filled, the second choice is cancelled.

No offense to all the midwest states and folks living there, but that is one odd tour.

I'm from the midwest and I agree with you too. I guess having ACL on 2 different weekends makes the scheduling a bit of a challenge but it's hard to plan a road trip to follow this tour. I figure I'll only be able to get time off of work to go to Cincy & St Louis then back home and then wait 2 weeks and go to Detroit. I had no idea where Moline even was before I checked the map.

    1998 - Noblesville
    2000 - Noblesville
    2010 - Noblesville
2011 - EV solo St Louis, PJ20 Alpine Valley
    2012 - San Fran (Oracle)
    2013 - Wrigley, Pittsburgh, Buffalo
2014 - Cincy, St Louis, Detroit
    2016 - Lexington, Wrigley
    2018 - Wrigley
    2022 - Nashville, St Louis
    2024 - Noblesville, Wrigley
    2025 - Nashville, Pittsburgh

The ticket odds functionality is pretty cool. Should help people have a better idea as to the risk vs reward, considering priority selection. Very nice enhancement to the process.

    totally agree

Happy for the midwest. Bummed, but at least I caught them last year and am going to ACL this year.
I've been fortunate enough to see Pearl Jam live.

I am hanging in the balance of a perfect finished plan

Ugh! What an awful tour... My money is on not a single show selling out in the Midwest. They'll need to do a few festivals to make up the lost revenue.

Yeah, if they were going to do all Midwest, they could have thrown in a few shows people would want to travel to (ie Chicago)...Moline? Detriot? Not places I want to spend time/money travelling to, to be honest.
Well too bad for you bro, Detroit is a huge market, and we don't need you
Not a "bro"...and yeah, it's a huge market, but not one that many people want to spend money visiting.

All the better for me, damn Canadians are already going to hurt my chances of GA...

7/19/13 - Wrigley Field, Chicago, IL
    10/11/13 - Pittsburgh, PA
    10/12/13 - Buffalo, NY

    5/10/2016 - Toronto, ON
    3/24/2020 - Hamilton, ON
    9/7/2023 - Chicago, IL

So excited! Not going to complain about Cincinnati. It's hours away, but we're happy to make the drive. Now if I can just score some tickets . . .

I live in Columbus and I pretty much have a 3 hour radius circled around that includes lot of great cities as where I would go to see pj, so I am pretty excited to see 2 shows in that circle. I told my wife I was leaning cincy even though it's a work night and I actually have the day after the Detroit show off and her response, "why not go to both?" It's great to have a wife who gets it!

Reserved Seats have the better odds because less people are submitting. Got Brooklyn night 1 that way because we figured everyone else would be going for GA.
Just entered MI, MN and WI good luck to all. C U There.

I will say its unfortunate to be on the fringe. Pittsburgh was the furthest west tour last year so it probably had a lot of Midwesterners. Cincinnati and Detroit may have a similar issue with easterners for this tour. It's unfortunate because it makes me have further away seats!
