We've been fishing for a Pearl Jam gig since June 2006...I've got a fever, and the only prescription is more cowbell.

I m so ready. I always wanted to visit mn. That's awesome that there's good fishing close to the major cities. Here in New Jersey everything is overfished.vant0037 said:

Seriously I love fishing. My dad and I have talked for years about getting a cabin in some off the spot lake for a week and just fish for smallies and pike. If pj plays here I am going. Mark my words. I ve been to forty states in the u.s. and sadly I've never visited mn. The cool thing is I've never heard one negative thing about mnvant0037 said:

The Mississippi River is a great spot right in the downtowns of MPLS and St. Paul.mcgruff10 said:I m ready to visit mn. Can some bring me fishing for smallies or pike? I ll even go walleye
If you do decide to come here, PM me, I'd be glad to get you some info. I'm original from the northern part of MN. Lots of good places to wet a line up there.0

Never been a fan of all night. The isolated vocals at the end remind me of the same effect in Aerosmith's Love in an Elevator (cringes). That's just me though.I've got a fever, and the only prescription is more cowbell.

All Night would be a killer opener.
 Just balls to the walls.
I am partial to the slow grind opening number...Release, Long Road, Hard to Imagine...
I keep shouting for Severed Hand as the opener. I think that would be sweet0

I've seen severed hand as an opener and it didn't blow me away.I've got a fever, and the only prescription is more cowbell.

but did you see it with LASERS? they had those for a while in 2006. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qt77D0fgTAc 0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qt77D0fgTAc 0

While I think these are two completely different songs with separate vibes, there is some validity to this comment. I remember hearing 'Severed Hand' for the first time on SNL I believe, and there was talk at the time of the same chords/similar chord progression to Porch. I had completely forgotten about that!evenflow82 said:I liked severed hand when it was called Porch. :-P 0

It is tough to write original riffs, so I give the guys a pass on severed hand and porch. Hence the :-P emoticon.
I always think Stone has billions of new riffs and chord progressions waiting to bubble to the surface. Please play Minnesota this Fall!!!I've got a fever, and the only prescription is more cowbell.

Does it? To me, saying it sounds just like "Porch" is an unfinished thought. Is that a good thing or a bad thing?adusick said:While I think these are two completely different songs with separate vibes, there is some validity to this comment.
