What's the story with the pre-party? I deactivated my evil facebook some time ago... Also not 100% on when I'll be getting to Auckland if it'll be the night before or the day of BDO.

In the 2nd lineup there's only one band I've heard of, Villainy, who are awesome. I've seen them 4 times already. I assume they'll play early in the day so once I've seen them its all about Pearl Jam
I've made it my goal of 2014 to get front row for Pearl Jam. I'll do it. I WILL!

I'll be at melbourne BDO ... trying to be optimistic .. just have a terrible sense of direction and get a bit flustered when I get lost ... so hoping its pretty obvious where I need to be, but would like some idea on times etc as well, so would be handy to have some knowledgeable people to tag along with

I'm staying in the city centre too, Queen St. by the Queen Victoria Market. I'm there for 5 days. I prefer cities to beaches towns.
So, there you got Emm, you already got 2 friends to travel with
Flights booked! So i'm heading up to the GC on the 18th from Newcastle. Working production day and show day, back on the 20th. Flying then to Melbourne on the 23rd for production day and show day, then straight to Sydney for the same on the 25th. Working the 3 shows, with an AAA pass. Yew! Will be a fun week!

so im hearing Blur have cancelled their BDO commitments. not sure if its true or not? doesnt bother me in the least if they come or not but it will be interesting to see if another band will replace them ..... probably not
Itll be interesting to see how bdo organisers respond to this. I think its unlikely itll get cancelled but If it does we may get our Pearl Jam (non bdo) tour after all,
