Yeah, and once it's handed off to USPS the USPS is supposed to take over the tracking, but they hardly, if ever, update the tracking scans.

There is an additional tracking number on the UPS site. When you load the UPS page with the # from 10c, there shouldbe a box once it is with the USPS with a Package Identification Code- plug that number into the USPS site and you will get tracking through them.

This exactly which was unknown to me until now. So our expectations need to be reset to the USPS expected date, not the UPS date.
It looks like the UPS estimated date using the tracking # from the 10c is when it will arrive at USPS.
There's a 2nd tracking # on UPS's site that when used at USPS now has it being delivered on 10/7 for me.

Same thing here and I live in Gainesville Rock City. Mine is supposed to be delivered today.

My guess is SC and other locations are the large offices for the US post office. So they save money by reducing the number of planes since they just get larger planes to go to SC. I'm sure it works out in the end.

I'm just worried because I'm getting ready to hit the road and no one will be home to listen to the music. ;)

Just an update (even though everyone is going through this). Mine was in Logan Township, NJ on Oct 2nd (the day it was suppose to be delivered), then went to Philly on Oct 3rd, and today it's BACK IN NJ. Still with an Oct 2nd projected delivery date and it still needs to get to Mass. Thought for sure I'd have it for the weekend. Should I hope for mid-late next week? I'm thinking about calling, Has anyone tried calling UPS about theirs?

Go back to the UPS page and see if it has been handed off to the post office yet. If so look for the Package Identification Code- plug that into the USPS tracking and it will give you an update.

My ID was only an 8 digit number and nothing came up on USPS' site.

Strange, mine is just as long as the UPS number, starts with a 9? is yours handed off to the post office yet? Maybe it has not been updated?

I live in B'ham, AL. My PJ travel buddy, who lives a few doors down, received his yesterday  He said it's a real beauty and was super stoked. My account status still lists mine as being in the warehouse although I received a shipping confirmation on 9/26 :? Eagerly watching the doorstep :corn: .

Your email should have a tracking # for UPS in it

Ahhhh...thanks. Just checked and on 10/2 it arrived in ATL.....and then went to flipping Greensboro, NC :fp:
Anyhoo, glad to know it's on it's way (although not b/t here, B'ham, and there, Seattle). Just hoping UPS doesn't play too much frisbee, I mean vinyl-package, golf w/ it :lolno:

The tracking # i got from 10c starts with a 9 and is long. Once I track that number, there is a packageID # and a sequence # on that page. I plugged all 3 numbers into the USPS site and nothing comes up for me. It's okay though, I'm being patient.

Mine was transferred to USPS in Philly and the movement since then is shown on the UPS site.

Mine is out for delivery! Earlier this AM it said Oct 7

So I guess the bottom line is just be patient as it changes dates and statuses many times as it is dependent on both USPS and UPS
  • So a previous post was right. If you use the new confirmation # from the UPS site and use it on the USPS site you can get the actual delivery date. The delivery date on UPS site if when it will be delivered to USPS. I got Oct 8th which puts the shipping for me at about 13 days to go across the country. Hope it was really cheap.
