Question: Why are baby showers only for the mum?

Our friend is due on the same day as Threefish and her baby shower is next week but I'm not going. BORING! I said I'm working. If we could ALL go (eg male and female) and just have a BBQ or something it wouldn't be so bad but I'm not sitting around for a 4 hours with a bunch of clucky chicks guessing which baby photo belongs to which person. Got better things to do.

In the last 2 years they've had a house warming, engagement party, hen's night, bucks night, 2 birthday parties, a wedding (with Leigh as groomsman) AND now a baby shower.

For fucks sake! How many more presents do they want off us?

FLAC quality is heaps better than mp3's............dont ask me why but they are......

It was a doco about all the pictures taken of her 10days b4 she died........
There was some awesome pics taken in that time......
Just makes u wonder on that night she died if they wouldve stayed at the Ritz instead of leaving things may be different....Just one different decision...

Can't stay on for long though cos I have to pick Mum up from the airport. She's been up in Emerald for the past week visiting her best friend. Sure has been nice and peaceful without her

I was having a chuckle to myself last night, thinking bout our meet up....picturing us all having little signs with " :eek: " and " " etc; to hold up when needed.....and if someone says something funny we all say " LMFAO".
