None of the above. We drew 1-1 so the celebrations will be put on hold till next week. It's effectively wrappped up. The only way we can lose it is if we get beat by at least 9 goals next Saturday

Umm.. yeah I did actually. Someone had a karaoke thing plugged into the TV. Normally I hate that sort of thing but last night I grabbed the mic and had a bit of a go. I scored a 100 singing Holiday by Madonna and a 96 singing Locomotion. All the karaoke diehards there were jealous. :o:o

100% on Madonna! ha ha :D You must know it pretty well....I looooved Immaculate Collection when I was about 10 - had that and Like a Virgin on tape. I should get that on cd actually. Were there many people at this party? Did you wake up and feel like a dick? I love that feeling after I've been drunk... (as long as I've been a dick in front of friends!).

I disagree about the quiter lifestyle...

While the highlights of Lennon's career with the Beatles is well known, Lennon is less remembered for his political activism and dedication to peace. Lennon wrote some of the most famous songs of the anti-war movement: "Give Peace A Chance", "Imagine" and "Happy Christmas (War Is Over)". He sang at political protests against the Vietnam War, in support of the radical John Sinclair and even for the prisoners of Attica. He and Yoko made international headlines simply by lying in bed as part of their Bed-In For Peace.

The U.S. government saw Lennon as such a serious threat that President Nixon attempted to have him deported in 1972. In addition the FBI closely monitored his actions and amassed a file on Lennon of over 400 pages.

    taken from some source... ;)

Lennon effectively 'retired' from music for 5 years so that he could raise Sean. I guess you could call that a 'quieter lifestyle'
The FBI stopped investigating him after Nixon got the flick. In fact John received his Green Card in 75

It was a damn shame he got murdered cos he was thinking about re-uniting with the rest of the Beatles, and he was also planning a world tour. My mum and dad were spewing because they'd already signed up on some kind of waiting list for tickets to see him.
My mum and dad are real harbingers of death for artists:
    1) Signed up for tix to see Lennon - Shot dead
    2) Bought tix to see The Carpenters - Karen Carpenter starved herself to death
    3) Went to see The Who - Keith Moon dead 2 months later

I'm keeping them away from PJ :)
