It does seem odd. They only time in the last 15 years they did a single show was at gorge '05. I think that was because it was announced after the Canadian tour and it was squeezed up the day before the Vancouver date.
It all seems very weird. The last two seattle shows ('06/'09), had their 2nd dates announced with the rest of the tour. The '00 and '02 shows had their 2nd shows go on sale minutes after the first show.
I've never seen a delay this long before. Ticket demand seemed pretty high. When the first went on sale I was refreshing constant, delayed a few seconds trying to get off the choose your own seat page, searched for a pair, entered the captcha.. and blamo.. no tickets 20 seconds after the onsale started. A few pairs behind the stage trickled out later, but the thing basically sold out in 30 seconds.....
It's a very odd situation.
I agree, it's a different situation here. My guess is that they want to make this show special and just stick with one but who knows?

Maybe they have plans to play a one or two night stand in George Wa gorge in late spring / early summer...? Would make sense to not saturate the market with two Seattle shows, Spokane, Calgary, Portland, Vancouver in Nov Dec 2013.
Either way.. have GA for Vancouver. Decent seat for Seattle. Going to be a great trip even if Seattle II doesn't happen.

It's not looking good for a second Seattle show...just received this e-mail from Key Arena.
"Hi - there has not been a Dec. 7 show announced for Pearl Jam at KeyArena. I do believe some of the non credible ticketing sites are posting that a show is happening on that date, but unfortunately that is not the case as of yet or if at all."

They are not going to tell you if there is a second date if it has not been announced by the band yet. They would not even tell you if there was a possibility with all the legal stuff behind it either.

Since I can't get to Seattle 1, I will just be kind of annoyed with myself for deciding against the winter drive to Spokane if there isn't a Seattle 2. I should have pulled that trigger and risked getting stuck in the mountains in a Blizzard..... But I will live. I have NIN a week and a half from PJ in Vancouver anyway, so that is awesome!

Gluttonous PJ fans upset there's not a 2nd Seattle show.
Nothing to do with gluttony here...just don't want to schedule my flight home for 12/7 only to have a show announced a week later for 12/7. Unless, of course, it is gluttonous to not want to pay a $150-200 fee to change my flight back home.
If its not going to happen then I wish they would make a formal announcement and put this rumor to rest.

Also, why would they make a formal announcement regarding an informal rumor? And, was this ever an actual rumor or just wishful thinking?
Ticketmaster actually told someone that there was going to be a second show I think, plus someone a long time ago, long before the tour announcement, said Seattle shows would be on the 6th and 7th, and he was right about the 6th... So I think that makes it an actual rumour as opposed to... a fake rumour. Yes, 10C told me there were "no plans" for a second show... But everyone agrees that this is meaningless, since they wouldn't admit it to anyone before they announced it.
