    Braves pick up Scott Downs from the Angels today. They needed another left-hander along with Luis AvIlan in the bullpen. Now with the bullpen shored up, maybe their batting averages will go up and their strikeouts go down.

    Heyward has been disappointing since his rookie season. I wish they could bring back Don Baylor as hitting coach. I think he would completely transform Heyward's game.

    I thought he would be the man from that year's rookie class. Instead, Posey got rookie of the year, has 2 world titles, and won MVP last year :x . What a stacked resume already.
