Three Crooked Hearts wrote:I noticed that as well. Someone I know purchased his ticket from a scalper at face value around 6:30pm, then accidently I ran into him and gave him my spare 10c ticket. We tried getting rid of his Ticketmaster afterwards, and forget about getting back the $60 he paid for it. An hour later, you see scalpers with tons of tickets still available and selling WELL below face value. We were lucky enough to get $25 for it.
Plenty of ten clubbers selling their tickets as well.
Around 7:00 or so, I bought a ticket at the box office..section 108, aisle, row 16. Couldn't have asked for a better ticket.0 -
Awesome show again! Harvest moon with i guess Sleater kinney was fuckin amazing. Untitled with MFC was also a highlight. This tour has just been the best. All the tailgating, booze drugs partying. What a blast...only one more to go, but i can't complain0

pre-set...throw your arms around me. One of the few songs I haven't had the pleasure of seeing live. just mmmmmmmmmm
Porch being the opener. One of our friends wanted to hear this, and having it open brought huge smiles and a warm heart knowing she was hearing this.
In My TreeIt's my favourite song and I can never tire of it.
Sad and U...U especially sounded great
Present Tense can't hear this enough. You can feel the passion and love from both the band and the crowd for this
Untitled...grab the kid
Harvest Moon. There cannot be enough said about this. From the story leading up to it, to hearing the first few chords and i thought Ed nailed it. Neil is a favourite, and hearing Ed cover this almost brought tears to my eyes. I was concerned when he said he was bringing out SK to join him...but it worked its magic.
I love the Ed rants, the change of lyrics, the dramatic falls(although the header into the bin looked a little scary),the smiles, the laughter during YL, trying to kick Mike a few times when he was crazy running all over the place.
Looking forward to seeing what's in store for us in Toronto and Ottawa.0 -
Thanks for sharing all of your fan reviews! I think this had the best setlist of the tour.. I wish i was there. Opening with Porch!! Playing harvest moon
not to mention Sad and all the other great songs.

I just got back home from a crazy drive to chicago after the show. Here are the pictures I got from the show last night. Enjoy...

Someone asked what the song was added to Betterman. It was Sleater-Kinney's "Modern Girl". It sounded familiar because SK played it earlier in the night, and every night they've opened up.

sorry this is a bit long
this was the last of the four shows i got to attend on this tour and it totally blew me away (the other being vancouver, calgary, and london). it was an amazing experience from the moment i got to the venue. i had the amazing pleasure to be in the front row with one of my best friends dead in front of mike, i was totally floored when i picked up my tickets and saw i was front row but being in front of mike made it even better. i had front row in calgary too and that was very special too, i feel so blessed to have had that opportunity.
the set list was great and i enjoyed everything they played. harvest moon was incredible and i loved seeing the guys all dressed up, especially mike he was lovin it strutting around on stage:) i think some of the highlights of the night for me were when ed came over to watch mike solo, especially when he was down on his knees just enjoying him play.
To the band if they ever read this...
to mr. michael mcready, you blow me away! it was such a priviledge to watch you play last night and you were the highlight of the tour for me. thank you for making the night so special and for making sure i got a guitar pick and for giving your set list to my friend and i. i am in constant awe of your talent and i cannot thank you enough!
to ed, thank you so much for giving me your guitar pick in calgary, it made my first front row experience an incredible event and meant the world to me!
to the whole band, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU. i cannot even being to explain how much i loved and enjoyed these four shows. seeing you live is one of the greatest experiences of my life and i will be eternally grateful. thank you for treating your fans so well and giving us the opportunity to get such great seats to the shows. thank you most of all for the music which has meant so much to me over the years, i just can't say thank you enough.
my thanks also goes out to the hard working staff of the ten club who hooked us up with all the tickets, it may seem like your work goes unappreciated some days but i can't thank you enough!
overall, it was a great way to end off my shows this time around and i will never forget this show:)Toronto 96 - Barrie 98 - Toronto 00 - Toronto 03 - Montreal 03 - Vancouver 05 - Calgary 05 - London 05 - Hamilton 05 - Gorge I 06 - Gorge II 06 - Seattle I & II 09 - Vancouver 09 - Portland 09 - LA III & IV 09 - San Diego 09 - Kansas City 10 - St Louis 100 -
ROCKIN' IN THE FREE WORLD was the single greatest live performance of any song I've ever seen in concert!!! Simply amazing!!!!
A toast to Pearl Jam for probably the best concert I've ever been to!0 -
Twas an amazing show!
does anyone happen to have a picture of Eddie while they were playing RITFW, but when he had the Canadian flag held up over his shoulders/holding it up in the air? I'd love to have a copy.0 -
Amazing, amazing, amazing. The energy....I just cannot explain the energy in that place last night. Great set, Eddie looked pleased with the crowd, the boys were tight....especially pleased with Matt.
Porch as an opener?!?!?!?! Amazing night.
Cant wait for Toronto.10/01/96...8/22/98...9/04/00...5/02/03...6/28/03...7/08/03...9/13/05...9/19/050 -
I've seen them 6 times, and have yet to hear Porch. Please, please play Porch in Toronto!!!!0

Eddie was standing on some speakers or something on stage right near the end os the show and holding onto some of the cables. If anyone has a pic of that that would also be greatly appreciated. I bloody well ran outta film right before that, dammit all to hell.
Fantastic show. I thought the Kitcher song list and energy was the best and Hamilton had the most antics. London's show kind of dragged in comparison but it was still pretty damn good. Did anyone see me? I was in a green van with 10C Kitc.Lon.Ham.TO painted on the back and a PJ with a lightning bolt on each side. We were getting homked at like crazy. ^_^
They were extraordinarily tired last night, the only reason we got a YLB was because Mike McCready is a trooper and a marvelous man. After he started up everyone else was comitted to do it too. ^_^0 -
Modern Girl by Sleater Kinney was tagged on at the end of Betterman" I said there's nothing wrong with what you say. Believe me just asking you to sway. No white or black just grey. Can you feel this world with your heart and not your brain?"0

I think I was able to catch that moment, but my cam ran outa juice after the show and I haven't had time to recharge my bat, or check if my pics came out. If I have it I'll post it up here later tonight.05/02/03 Buffalo, 06/28/03 Toronto, 09/13/05 Hamilton, 09/19/05 Toronto, 05/09/06 Toronto, 05/10/06 Toronto

I'd be eternally grateful if you'd do that. We were crushed when it happened and there was no way to capture the moment.
I was amazed by how much wine Ed tossed back. Sweet Jeez-Us, he was hitting the bottle an awful lot. Did anyone see Mike run behind him and Eddie tried to give him a playful kick? ^_^
Did anyone think we were louder saying "Eddie's an asshole" compared to all sorry's and best wishes we gave his friends?0 -
Mike is a tremendously considerate performer. He was always looking at at the crowd and pointing at different people. I lost track of how many guitar picks he unloaded into the audience. I saw him neatly folding and stacking the Canadian flags that were thrown onto the stage. At the end of the show when he was walking off stage he took off his shirt (I think it was a Pittsburgh Pirates shirt) and traded it with an audience member. I'm positively floored by how generous he is with his time and attention.
I gotta mention that Matt doesn't have a chicken arm when it comes to throwing drum sticks into the audience. Weenie drummers usually don't go much farther than the first couple rows, but Matt launched them pretty far. He even tossed a handful into the high seats behind the stage. It's really great to see that much consideration.0 -
First of all I have to thank 10C for the great seats. In Kitchener I was 22 rows back on the floor and couldn't see a damn thing, but have never sat on the floor so the energy of it all was amazing. Then last night I was in section 108 row 5. We were right alongside the stage and could see everything. Completely amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I loved Ed and Corin's Canadian flag capes and the little do-si-do dance and the abundant toasts. The little Tim Hortons thing from the SK set was cute too. I can't believe Untitled, Thumbing My Way, Porch, Sad, U and Indifference were all played. Loved the SK tag on Betterman too. Ed sings it better than the girls do! I Am Mine also sounded awesome. Sooooooooooo yes thanks again 10C, Pearl Jam and all the fans for making this such a blast!2003: Toronto

My god it was amazing.
I really don't know what to say other than that and that Indifference and Present Tense were awesome.0 -
Great show. I personally loved the set list. Throw your Arms Around me is one of my favourites. I only wish it could be on the boot. Untitled was another special treat for me.
Like everyone else here has mentioned, the band put out so much energy even after playing so many shows in a row. I just wish I could have seen a little more energy given out from the crowd. I was up in the balcony just rocking my heart out and everyone around me sat through the entire show. I was shocked! They only stood up for Ledbetter when they thought it was time to leave. A whole mass of people even left before the second encore. Craziness. I had an amazing view of the stage and the crowd and even though there were a lot of people rocking on the floor and a few pockets of people rocking in the stands, I was a bit disappointed.
I've got Ten Club tickets for the Toronto show and even though I probably won't be able to see from the floor as well as I could last night, I'll be happy to get back into the middle of the energy.0 -
looks like an awesome show! im gonna die from excitement before philly!0
