Don't let it bother you...I thought it was a good question, one I've not seen before!! You'd think that people don't realize that message boards turn over topics often as new people join :-)

Me and my fiance flew from Sacramento, California to Philadelphia just to catch those two Camden, NJ shows this past June. That's about 3000 miles give or take! No regrets!!!

I flew from NY to Italy to see them in 2006. What an incredible vacation. If it wasn't for Pearl Jam...I don't think I would have gone to the other side of the planet anytime soon. What we fans do to see a great band!

I met alot of people doing Italy in '06 and i was SOO jealous
Seeing Imagine in Cornice convinced me and a friend to bite the bullet and finally travel to europe for some shows (it ended being Radiohead since PJ wasn't touring) Can't wait to do it again but this time for PJ...hopefully the $ will be worth something then...

From Chicago to Virginia Beach. 15 hours, not including food breaks.

Well worth it too, because I won the 10C lottery and got first row!

Driving - 1300 miles or so from central Texas to Charleston, SC in 1996. (We had a problem with our flights and ended up having to drive 22 hours each way.)

    San Francisco to Munich.

Was it the MAIN purpose of my trip ... well ... no ... but, the whole trip (ended up being 12 days in Europe) would not have come about if PJ were not in Munich.

I had a friend living in Munich for a year or so, and I lost a bet to him ... (see Patriots v Broncos 2006 playoff game) ... so, I owed him dinner and planned on paying up upon his return to the US.

PJ announced their 2007 Europe tour and I was long overdue for a vacation, his stay in Europe was extended, so, I asked him if he'd be up for a visit and I could repay him dinner (oh, and I'd check out PJ while I was there).

To get my girlfriend on board, we added on 6 days in Paris. (more than worth it, I loved Paris).

So ... the trip wasn't necessarily focused around the PJ Munich show, but again ... I wouldn't have started the whole planning going to Munich if PJ wasn't playing there (or, if the Pats had won that game ... ha!)
First, it was so nice to meet you there! PJ fans are great. :D We also traveled to Munich but from Bellingham, WA. It was the main focus but also had wanted to see Germany. We traveled the year before to Italy and Switzerland for 4 PJ concerts and had a great time but felt we didn't get to see much of the countries so only went for the one concert in 07. Our other longest trips have been to Hawaii (twice), Chicago and Winnipeg. Always worth it. We let PJ, to a great extent, pick our travel destinations. :)

March 14, 1995 - drove Sydney to Canberra and then back to Sydney after the concert (getting back at 3am, 8 hours driving total)

Flew to Chicago from Toronto for Lolla.

I haven't done alot of travelling to see PJ, but I'm looking forward to the next opportunity :D

At the recent MSG shows, met people who'd flown in from Wales, Scotland and Italy.
