So what? The fact remains those bands decided they wanted to play the BDO, so it's really up to you.

It's not like anything prevented Pearl Jam doing an arena tour, they made a choice not to. You've got to do the best with the hand that you're dealt. If you want to see the band, you don't get to dictate the terms: grit your teeth and make the best of it, y'know?

I want to see them more than anything else, having missed out on the 2009 tour and Eddie's solo tour due to illness, but I refuse to pay $185 to see one band at a god awful venue surrounded by drunken idiots.

But that's why we are going - If you want to see them, that's where you have to go. I know the fact its the BDO has turned people away, but if you want to see them, that's where you are going - there is nowhere else in Oz/NZ to see them.

If you don't want to see them there - don't go and don't whinge about it anymore - They aren't changing the tour now, no matter how much anyone complains about it.

I got tickets and I am pumped - initially I was concerned, but there is no point now, it's done, so I am better off enjoying the opportunity I have to see them

if you are lucky,and all goes as usually goes with pj tour..all are healthy,band still together etc..
your next chance is at 2017!!!

Did you not go to the 2009 stadium tour? It wasn't much different. It was still bloody awesome though!

i understand someone cant afford it,or has health issues for not going..
but have the money,time vacation,you are ok as comes to family or health and say im not going,i dont like the venue your favo band playing at your country??
you cant imagine how many Greek fans pm me and say:hey Dimi,any infos if they will come to Greece??
they cant afford to travel,some of then they even dont have jobs here with how fucked up is out economy..
and dreaming a show at Greece,.yeah right...never gonna happen..
so,,live now..tomorrow is another day and you never know how the fuck dawn will find you..

Exactly, it's really not that much of a change.

Frankly, I'd much rather see Mudhoney and Blur than Ben Harper, so it's kind of a win-win for me!

Yeah I agree mate - I am happy just to have the ability to see my fav band- We forget that while we whinge about not getting a full tour since 4 years ago (myself included), some countries don't get anything and some people just can't afford to go no matter how much the shows are.

Feeling very excited today to have a ticket to see the greatest band in the world!!

I am way over festivals but this PJ & will be my 10th show & possibly my last so to see 10 will be perfect. Like many others i always want to see their own shows & possibly indoors as outdoors you just get to many dickheads thinking it is ok to throw a full bottle of beer but with piss in it instead. Sadly there will be your 18-19 year olds who think it is their right of passage to become cool to go to a BDO & just be there to wankers & make it uncomfortable for the ones who are actually there for the music, maybe they can be educated in some decent music instead of the rubbish of today!! We just to accept it & hope it isn't way to hot & that the band don't play at festival set & throw in some rare stuff but i wouldn't hold my breath on that one!!

BDO is well past its glory days and i wish they were playing their own tour but guys and girls get there while you can!! I got a bad feeling they may not come around again.

I missed the entire 2009 aus/nz tour due to my work touring commitments to png and now the dates have been announced i'm going to miss them again for the same reason. Id been planning on following the next tour for as many shows as i could.

Get there and enjoy them while you can!

Im gutted i cant be there...........
