    He was a gritty defenseman .
    Lets hope he adds some snark to Girardi , McD, Staal(?) , DelZ, and the newbie Falk .

    The 6-foot-2, 170 pound Tambellini is the son of former NHL player and general manager Steve Tambellini and the brother of former Islanders forward Jeff Tambellini. In 52 games with Surrey last season Tambellini scored 36 goals and totaled 65 points playing the center position. Clark said that Tambellini has an "NHL shot similar to his father and brother".

    Duclair, who played the past two seasons under Hockey Hall of Famer Patrick Roy as his head coach with the Quebec Remparts, scored 20 goals and finished with 50 points in 55 games this past season. Duclair, who grew up in Montreal with his father being a huge Rangers fan, was considered to be one of the best skaters in the 2013 draft.

    I know Ferierro played in at least a handful of NYR games,...

    I think slats has his hands pretty much tied right now. Lots of guys we need to re-up and he really can't go out and sign anybody big. Prob why clowe didn't re-up cuz we can't afford anybody right now. Guys like Mac, steps, hank, hags, Cally I believe as well, all gonna need deals by next season.
