    Bathy, from what I understand, they have 1 more buyout available and they can use it now or by the end of next season. Either way, richies gone. There's no way he plays out his contract in New York.

    "I would like to thank #NYR & particularly Glen Sather for giving me the opportunity over the last 4 years to work with the Rangers. I am resigning my position with the Team to pursue an opportunity to expand the game of hockey in the NY area by developing the Kingsbridge National Ice Center."

    i thought it is a little ironix that mess remains in nY to run that new Ice Hockey Center.
    He needs to break in thru the ranks like others who are in a system.

    I think Beukeboom is a coach now at the Connecticut team .
