I bought it from resident records
http://www.resident-music.com/
I saw the site posted in a thread on the porch about the Mad Season RDS LP and they had the Blind Melon RSD LP so I bought that and the Sigur Ros album, probably, with the currency conversion and shipping, worked out to $45-50 in total
love that album, sounds awesome1998 ~ Barrie

What did you get this for? I was at a record show on Sunday in Kitchener and I saw that one of the vendors had it for sale. I didn't ask but it probably cost a small fortune. Where did you find your copy?
I went to Antique Avenue in Hamilton as i kept seeing their ads on kijiji that they got a whole bunch of records from different genres (see my records bought recently postings) and when I was at the counter there was a Hip song playing on the radio and the guy goes, hey I just had this come in are you interested and pulls out that record. I say what are you asking and he says $70 and I just couldn't walk away especially when he said the dude who sold it to him bought it from the fan club and never played it. I checked out the record, mint

Haha ok, well they aren't for everybody, this isn't probably the best album to start with as it's their most recent. They have tried a few different styles, some great, some not so great. If you are interested then Achtung Baby is a must listen, then The Joshua Tree which the lesser known songs are brilliant too. After that maybe Boy, War, The Unforgettable Fire or another one of my faves Zooropa, where they went a bit electronica.PJ_Soul wrote:

No, I'm sure it's a fine album. I mean, it's U2 - how bad can it be? I just thought I had heard ALL of their albums (I know U2 VERY well, or so I thought! War, Joshua Tree, and Rattle and Hum or my faves, obviously Pop is my least fave), and then you post that one, and I realized that I didn't even know it existed. I guess I haven't been paying attention since How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb. I had no idea they'd released another one, and that surprised me!reesdog wrote:

Ahh I see, well this has been out quite a while now, since 2009. I like it, it had mixed reviews on release, "Q" gave it 5 out of 5 stars, but then I've seen a couple of reviews where they ripped the shit out of it. No line on the Horizon and Moment of Surrender are two songs definitely worth checking out...A wop bop a loo bop a lop bam boom.0
