It is not an accident. The commissioner changed the free agency rules this year to make it more of an event. Its cool because I love everything NFL but it is also nice to have a break for a couple months to kind of recharge the batteries of interest. It is impossible to escape it in GB though. The world could go to war again and the local news would lead in with Aaron Rodgers at a charity golf outting.Forced to endure, what I cannot forgive.0 -

And they have plans to change the league calendar again to keep it relevant every month of the year:

The thing that pisses me off is the games in England. What the hell is the end goal here? To get a team in London? I mean get real. The Packers have not had to go there yet but I will be pissed when they do, especially if they lose a home game over it.Forced to endure, what I cannot forgive.0 -

Beats me, I don't understand it either but Goodell seems to keep pushing it more and more. I can understand if they want to play a couple preseason games over there but other than that it doesn't make any sense, it's too much of a disruption for teams to do in the regular season IMO.1998 - Noblesville

Wonder which Welker will show up for Peyton next season? The one played hard for Brady or the one who got his money. Although nfl contracts are not guaranteed. But still I feel like he will mail it in.I miss igotid880

I think he will be huge in Denver. Not as many receptions as in NE just because of the other receivers they have but he will be important.Forced to endure, what I cannot forgive.0 -
Vikings sing Greg Jennings. Good move for them. Sad to see him go, especially to the Vikings but business is business.Forced to endure, what I cannot forgive.0

Vikes should require a clause where he can't have a phone that takes photos.
Have they got the stadium deal done yet?Be Excellent To Each OtherParty On, Dudes!0 -
Rule changes passed: Tuck rule has been changed and RBs now can't lower their head and lead with their helmet.1998 - Noblesville

I didn't really know as a young lad that this arcade game was somehow predicting the future of when the human race became a group of pussies so big that we no longer allowed each other to play football ...Be Excellent To Each OtherParty On, Dudes!0 -

Ok, so turns out Favre helped Greg make his decision to go to Minnesota. Also heard Jennings on Rome and he basically said he wasnt THE MAN enough in GB and wasnt getting the stats he wanted because there were too many other good receivers. I am interpreting but that i essentially what he said. He never wanted to stay in Green Bay.
So for those reasons he is a piece of shit and I hope he loses every game he plays in, which will be half of the the games the vikings play. Oh and Fuck you Favre.Forced to endure, what I cannot forgive.0 -

Sad part of the biz ... no way GB could afford to keep him at market value. Not with Rodgers hitting FA next year.Be Excellent To Each OtherParty On, Dudes!0 -

He wanted out of Green Bay. The Packers offered him an extension two years ago that would have paid him 10 mil a year, he turned it down. Fuck him, fuck Favre and fuck Ryan Longwell. Sharper I don't care about.Forced to endure, what I cannot forgive.0 -

They didnt want to do that to him. He would have been disgruntled and they generally dont do that to people. He isnt worth that much to them anyway. Not sure what the cap number is for WRs but he was hurt a lot the last two years.Forced to endure, what I cannot forgive.0 -
Urlacher out in Chicago. They offered him a one year deal for 2 mil, ba ha ha. What an insult. They would have been better off just cutting him.Forced to endure, what I cannot forgive.0
