    As someone said before, one woman was attacked getting out of the cab. It does not matter how much you prepare or try to prevent crime.

    I think we will have to agree to disagree. I see where you are coming from and I always prefer that people know their surroundings, but I don't feel like people, or females specifically, should have to feel that they always have to take a cab three blocks.

    the bullpen will rebound. they're hitting a rough patch after the break. but they will be ready to rock for playoffs. i have faith.

    I can't help but to think that I am one of the "genisues" you mentioned. I am sorry, but I have just seen a lot of crazy defenses occur in rape trials where people try to blame females for walking home or crap like that. I just equate that thinking with the attacker mentality. They think they would not have raped a girl if she did not walk around alone. It has gotten to the point that is disgusts me. Maybe I need a a change of work.

    Let's hope so... The bullpen doesn't look so bad when the starters pitch good... Gotta believe they'll be better.

    im not sitting here saying "well with a skirt that short, she was practically begging for it." im just saying dont make things easier for criminals. that means know cities are dangerous, and respond accordingly. i was supporting your heads up. i dont know why everyone thinks i was opposing it.

    Please. Mace is very overrated. Even if a guy gets stung right in the eyes, it often times makes him angry without slowing him down too much. It is better than nothing though so I guess they should carry though.

    i agree that mace doesnt do anything, mace only last bout 10 seconds on me, my cousing used it on me once as a joke

    Ok, this is my last post: I thought these boards were made for discussion and debate. If you are upset by the content or such then go to a different posting or board. I for one love when people discuss their differences out in the open. Perhpas we can all see where each other is coming from and broaden our own horizons a little. Nothing wrong with that in my book.
