Its a sad state of affairs when people feel they cannot wear a shirt that shows how they stand on an issue. Its not offensive, its not derogatory or in bad taste. Its no different to wearing a All Different, All Equal shirt or a shirt or an animal welfare. I've just never felt that way and I've lived in America, Europe and now Australia.

Except everyone is assuming they are wearing the shirt around adults. Personally I've seen plenty of people wearing shirts around young children that were completely inappropriate.
How so? I don't think that inappropriate at all. You're never too young to start understanding things.

Trust me I see your point. But for things like guns or shirts that just say "fuck" on them, kinda be nicer if the parents got to pick the time and place they teach their kids about it rather than some other person who thought it might be cool to wear that type of shirt to chuck e cheese. If it out about in normally adult areas wear what you want. But if you are going to the children's museum with your niece, have some respect for others. That's what I'm talking about.

I'm afraid that I know a grown man who has a shirt that says, in huge lettering, "Fuck you you fucking fuck", and he wears it in public, but usually just because he was in public on the way to his in-laws' place for Sunday dinner. True story.

I stopped wearing mine because most people didn't get the message. A couple of people at work said "Why are you walking around with a t-shirt with a little girl on it? That's sends the wrong message". As a result, I now don't wear it because of the few who would think that I must be a pedophile for wearing a t-shirt with a little girl on in it.

WTF? Really? Thats outrageous  Fuck em. I proudly wore it until it fell apart back in the day (the original shirt) and I bought the re-release one a couple of years ago. Hell yea I still wear it >>>>>>>>

    Its my Avatar too.

EDIT: thats actually boiled my piss. People see you wearing a tshirt with a girl on it and say to your face "that sends the wrong message". Man I'd be close to losing it. It says more about them than you.

Why give a shit who gets what message from a pearl jam t shirt?

Did it really take 6 pages of this thread before one of the most cliched phrases popped up? :)

It's not cliché, it's just the simple truth.
