Are you comfortable wearing the "Choices" shirt?

With gun control and post Sandy Hook scrutiny in the news as a hot topic, does that influence whether you still wear the shirt or not?

I never bought it as I didn't like the pic on the front. Understand the message but just didn't want to walk around wearing that image. Never would sweat anyone that does, just not my thing. (I am a PJ t-shirt whore, have not passed on buying too many.)

  • I never liked that shirt. Not for any political reason I just like Tshirts with logos mainly or the some cool graphic design along with the band name. That being said, the OP has a good point. I bet a lot of people will leave it off just so they dont have to deal with the BS that may come with it in public. Some fucking idiot getting in your face is very possible.

what's the problem with it? it's just a shirt..
here in Italy you could go around wearing a shirt with an orgy pictured on it, and no one would say a thing :)

I stopped wearing mine because most people didn't get the message. A couple of people at work said "Why are you walking around with a t-shirt with a little girl on it? That's sends the wrong message". As a result, I now don't wear it because of the few who would think that I must be a pedophile for wearing a t-shirt with a little girl on in it.

WTF? Really? Thats outrageous  Fuck em. I proudly wore it until it fell apart back in the day (the original shirt) and I bought the re-release one a couple of years ago. Hell yea I still wear it >>>>>>>>

    Its my Avatar too.

EDIT: thats actually boiled my piss. People see you wearing a tshirt with a girl on it and say to your face "that sends the wrong message". Man I'd be close to losing it. It says more about them than you.

I agree. Wear the hell out of it if you like the design and/or message.

That really is f'n stupid. It makes no sense. Even sadder, it made you stop wearing a shirt that you liked to wear.

I don't have the shirt, but I would wear it. I don't care what people think, it sends a bold statement,it gets people talking/thinking.

If I remember correctly, the little girl is a 10c Staff member's daughter.

  • I prefer the WMA shirt, a powerful statement made in a subtle way. And it's a cool design.
  • That was one of my fav shirts, wore that one out in high school.

I think the question is directed toward Americans and the gun control debate going on. In America people feel they are entitled and can tell you what they think is wrong with you. Well, a lot of people anyway.

Well why would you buy the shirt if you weren't against gun policies? It's spelt out pretty boldly on the back. And if you agree with its sentiments why would you be shy to wear it? Now more than ever people should be wearing it and not be afraid to voice their opinion.

If I still had that shirt (my first PJ shirt BTW), I'd be wearing the fuck out of it right now. To me, that's the point of it. It's more relevant now than it ever was.

I still have and wear the original....sparingly because it's starting to get pretty worn out. I love that it has lasted this long and the neck isn't stretched out after this many years.

Still wear mine. It's so faded you can barely make out the image and lettering on the front.

Love this shirt but it shrank drastically, probably now a Sunday aka don't leave the house all day shirt. As for the OP, I DO NOT wear it to the park with my kid anymore. I had some creepy ass looking guy ask me what it means like 20 times. The type of guy that was baiting me just to show me he carried, although in Arizona everyone carries it just has to be out in the open like in a holster, anyway this was right after the President's speech and I didn't want to bring harm to any kids just because some A-hole is offended by a tshirt. Oh Well. I wear anywhere else though, but I did prefer the original with green words on the back as opposed to the yellow.

I bought a XXL for a friend. He decided to take the Zombie shirt instead.
Now I just have it in the plastic in a box. I can't even sell it because it shows up in goods. I have no idea what to do with it?

I'm comfortable wearing the choices shirt (if it was my size), and my NRA trucker hat together. It makes people wonder, and not ask me questions.

(I am not comfortable wearing my Johnny Cash shirt, I always have to ask if it's okay before I do :( )

    Wearing it now.
I just realized I'm also wearing a PJ shirt right now
    From 2008? It's not a favorite but it's comfy.
