    Anybody read Memnock the Devil by Anne Rice?
    Its the 5th or 6th book in her vampires series. I didnt like it much the first time I read it, but I re-read it a few years ago, and it was an awesome take on the devils fall from grace. I really enjoyed it.

    Don't believe in god, so don't believe in satan. Though one can look at the god/satan, good/bad thing as just another expression of yin & yang. Opposite yet interconnected force - one cannot be without the other. But yes - within man and not supernatural....

    Jonny - I have a soft spot for Anne Rice and the Vampire Chronicles :oops:

    I posted this late last night and then went to bed and realized I had really meant "goodness trumps" and wanted to get up and change it but Satan had me pinned down with his famous "Devil's Half-Nelson". This hold is exactly why wrestling has been eliminated from the Olympics. Oh, that damned Satan!

    Isn't most of what modern society's perception of Satan/Lucifer derived from Milton's 'Paradise Lost' and/or Dante's 'Inferno'?
    Can someone point me to the story of Lucifer from the Bible?
