Me thinks you know nothing about being a slave, so probably not the best analogy to be using. Critical thinking is what will usually win the day, but then perhaps that might also relate back to my first sentence.

Again, the issue is not asking questions. The issue is conspiracy mongering for the sake of getting attention and making money. Blindly following someone like that makes someone no less "a sheep".

This type of paranoia and distrust, if widespread, should be very concerning for so many reasons.

Where does this entrenched disposition come from? There are no people from any other country on this forum that talk like this about their government.

A major issue or crisis should have the effect of galvanizing the country as they bond together to deal with it... yet on this issue, people have become more polarized. It will be interesting how your leadership responds today and, in turn, how the public reacts to this response.
