What about the man in the woods? Central to proving any conspiracy theory is finding co-conspirators, which in this case means multiple shooters. Theorists have seized on helicopter footage of a man getting chased by police through the woods behind the school as evidence there was more than one shooter. Who is this man?
Answer: It was Chris Manfredonia, the father of a 6-year-old who attends the school. He was on his way to the school to make gingerbread houses with first-graders when he heard gunfire and smelled sulfur, so he ran.
reports were that a man was apprehended by police on the side of the school not in the woods, some kids interviewed claim that the police had a man down on the side of the school, mr manfredonia?
some other things that seem fishy:
1 what he was wearing to make ginger bread cookies? camo pants and boots...ok i can buy that i guess
2 his 6 yr old daughter is in the school when gun shots ring out and he goes running in the woods...not what i would do but i guess some fathers would flee
3 as he is lead away by police, past parents he says to them "i did'nt do it"...not something i would say, maybe something like "im chris my daughter is so and so she in the 2nd grade"
4 reports are that the gingerbread cookie making was scheduled at 2pm...maybe the reports are wrong maybe he wasnt aware of cookie time
I think the radio transmissions are all from confused police trying to control a chaotic situation at a time when they did not know how many shooters there were. I detained random person here, there are possible ski masks there, etc. These police didn't know what was what yet and were suspicious of everyone.
I think we will one day see the footage of Lanza entering the school.
I don't know about the cookie guy but I guess that story is believable enough. And personally I might yell "I didn't do it!" if I was in cuffs being led by parents. I might also say what you said, that I am so and so's father. Cannot say for sure how I would react.

Every visitor will be required to ring the doorbell at the front entrance and the office staff will use a visual monitoring system to allow entry. Visitors will still be required to report directly to the office and sign in. If our office staff does not recognize you, you will be required to show identification with a picture id. Please understand that with nearly 700 students and over 1000 parents representing 500 SHS families, most parents will be asked to show identification.
Doors will be locked at approximately 9:30 a.m. Any student arriving after that time must be walked into the building and signed in at the office. Before that time our regular drop-off procedures will be in place. I encourage all parents to have their children come to school and return home on the bus and to remain in school for the entire school day. The beginning and ending of our school day are also important instructional times and therefore we want all our students to reap the benefits of full participation in our program.
We need your help and cooperation for our system to work effectively. Our office staff is handling multiple tasks. Though they will work diligently to help you into the building as quickly as possible, there may be a short delay until someone can view you on the handset and allow you to come in electronically. There are times during the day when office personnel are on the telephone, addressing student concerns, or in the copy room; there are other times when only one person is in the front office. Please help our staff by identifying yourself and provide your child’s name. Keep in mind we will be following our district guidelines which may need revision once we test the system.

Having installed CC systems in the past it is certainly possible it has live feed only, no recording at all.
There are also some very sophisticated systems that are crystal clear in providing images and digital recording that can be viewed remotely. My guess is the Principle wouldnt have the juice to order such a system, that something of that nature would be up to the school board to authorize.
Lastly, from what source did this come from, if you dont mind? Equally importantly , WHEN was the letter supposed to have been sent to parents?
