First ever show at the Electric Factory. Hoping to get easy parking. No extra tickets. Maybe I will meet a couple of you guys inside.
Can't wait! I have been playing there music for the past month and really have gotten into it. Hoping for all the great songs. Haha

Cool I'll be wearing my 10 club hoodie.

I looked up the Boston setlist this morning and couldn't believe they played SOLAT.

I will look for you Dave, but I am hoping to get up front through the moshpits and will be more focused on not getting trampled.

    Leaving in 1 hour! :D

Listening to the opener (The Menzingers) they seem pretty good.

Wow. That was an amazing show. Was all the way up to 2nd row right in front of the guitarist between Brian and the bassist. Played every song I wanted to hear except 2. Sang my lungs out and danced like crazy.

    I fuckin love live music.

Yeah I was hoping for SOLAT too, but I feel like since this was my first GAslight show it topped a couple of my pearl jam shows. I also just realized American Slang wasn't played :( which is the song that got me into them.

I'm hoping for a lot more YouTube videos, cause there is only 4 up right now.

I got about 5 videos which I uploaded late last night. Guess they aren't available yet :?

Oh yeah they didn't play American slang, I like that song as well. Maybe next time.

  • Show was great last night. They are a ton of fun to see. I really like how you cannot really put them into a Rock category. They can be Alt Rock, Punk, Soft... they have ballads, sing alongs...

Bottomline- very strong live show where everyone is into it. Young crowd that did not make me feel old.

I am heading up to T5 tonight. I think they are going to bring it for NYC!

  • Killer show tonight at T5. Very similar to Philly and Boston. Not a complaint but the structure was close. Between the last 2 nights I saw most of what I wanted to hear.

Interestingly,I thought the band had a better performance in NY but the crowd was a tad more energetic in Philly. Just an opinion and observation from a guy who was on Mccready side (technical term) both nights.

This band has great energy and a good vibe. I am rooting for them... I think they can handle the fame.

I am sure I will get SOLAT some day...maybe when they tour with PJ in 2013!!

That sounds awesome. I really hope they play a proper Chicago show on this tour. They've been here a couple times since Handwritten came out but both were for festivals.

Also, I love that they have been leading off the sets with 'Mae'. Probably my favorite song on the new album....kinda reminds me of PJ starting shows with 'Release'.
