Saw them in London a few nights ago, best I've seen them yet, Brian was in fine voice throughout.

Lol, every time I hear them performing live I hear Randy Jacksons voice in my head saying "a little pitchy, dog". It doesnt matter that Brian isnt a great singer in the traditional sense. He sings great lyrics with true emotion and that is what makes him great. :D

Haha! I know what you mean. I guess I should have said his voice sounded strong throughout, better than the last time I saw them.

Greg Dulli's another one who technically isn't one of the best singers, but his voice is powerful and he always goes for it.

I have 2 hard tickets to their Austin show on 4/26 @ Stubbs that I'm about 90% sure I won't be able to attend. If anyone wants these for face (~$45 for both I think) then shoot me a PM.

My two fav songs on Handwritten. Ever notice how the guitar Keepsake sounds A LOT like Smile. ;) Some PJ influence coming through there.

Yeah my favourites too along with Mulholland Drive. Definite PJ influence, I instantly thought of Smile too when I first heard Keepsake. There's a line in Too Much Blood "can you say the same thing for yourself tonight" around the 57 second mark and Brian sounds a dead ringer for Ed. I'd love to hear Ed join them on stage for either of these songs.

Interesting. I am not a vinyl guy but that is pretty cool. What is that website? That isnt their normal site for merch.

There is no affiliation with the band. ShopRadioCast is just a webstore/distro that's offering a preorder on this. With 2500 copies, I'm guessing it will available at plenty of places.

I think it is more that they are blowing up and so they keep adding shows to the tour to take advantage.

Oz tour starts this Friday!! Who's going where?

I'm going tomorrow night in Brisbane, their first show on the tour and I must say I am about as excited I have ever been before a gig( apart from PJ).
Hoping to hear Red at Night or Our Father's Sons, but not expecting too.
The Tivoli is such a great venue, so the stage is set for a great gig

Sorry mate, didn't get back on here until just now.

Bloody great gig. Dave Hause was very solid, really enjoyed him

Gaslight were epic. Crowd was a little subdued in the first few songs and Brian told us so. His voice was on fire tonight- hitting every song. Not my perfect set list but still very good( would have loved to hear SOLAT or Baba)
Good mix of songs from every release including Señor and the Queen which rocked. Blue Jeans and White T- shirts was great and the new album sounded better live. 45 tore the house down and Backseat was a perfect closer.

They played for just under 2 hours I think. I reckon the rest of the shows will be longer though
