    Hey ladies! I love this video, this song, so thought Id share with you.... also, at the end, Eddie talks about how goos it was to be able to hear himself as the crowd was listening quietly. What do people think about it? I sang all the way through his gig, not too loud but i did! :D also, check out his beautiful smile at the very end.... aaaaah.......

    And Jen, I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed reading your Tulsa review! I was like 'oooooh I LIKE this woman!' And then I realised it was one of the lovely chicas from this thread. No wonder it was so engaging and heartfelt!

    And yes, I agree that the most important thing about PJ is the music, and what that means to each of us. Absolutely. Jen, I respect that you want to move away from the aesthetic, the surface of things, the worth we place on physical beauty . . . and I think that we could all use a bit more of that in our society. But please don't beat yourself up for objectifying EV on this thread now and then! You haven't lessened your love for the band and the music by posting a few lovely pictures of your hero.

    Personally, I think objectifying EV (and harbouring huge crushes on him and MM) helps me to be a better wife! It's a clever way for me to get my dose of infatuation (one of the most addictive emotions in the world), without doing anything truly crap. I think my husband is absolutely gorgeous. He's warm and genuine, and there's not a tricky bone in his body. I adore him and I'm grateful for him every single day. But, of course, I'm human. And like many women (and men) I probably have a bit of a fondness, or weakness, for the opposite sex. Thus I think that lusting after my favourite musicians (who I've known and loved for most of my life) is not such a bad thing. It keeps me out of trouble. It's a positive thing. A useful tool! ;)

    And do you know what? I like to think that EV was given such a lovely shell so that we would better accept his beautiful soul. It's like his beauty is the colourful shiny object that grabs your attention, so that you notice the substantial, meaningful thing underneath. His looks were also pretty instrumental in telling the world (and girls like my 13-year-old self) that Pearl Jam existed, which was a positive, POSITIVE thing for many people . . .

    And another thing, we might lust after how gorgeous and delectable he is, but most of that has to do with who he is as a man . . . if Eddie Vedder was a c**t with zero charm, warmth or humanity, I can bet that zero of us would give a shit how hot he is! Whereas even if he put on 50 kilos and went bald, I reckon most of us would still utterly adore him. We love him for his voice, his charisma, his talent and his empathetic soul. It's just a bonus that he's still such a BABE, and his wonderful face can cheer us up on crappy days :D

    I LOVE that song too!! The harmony . . . its beautiful! It makes you want to sing and hum along. I always thought he'd written it until recently. But in any case his version is beautiful.

    Thanks for the clip! That whole DVD is amazing. F**k I'd LOVE to see him solo one day! I live in hope. :)

    At first: I loooove this song!!! It's so great!!! I love the brown old guitar from Eddie. They sounds great!
    Second: "Put the silence down" Hahahahaha!!! I love his sense of humor!
    It's always so surprising to me how Eddie is able to express so much with a little facial expressions!!! A little bit lift his eyebrow, a short view from head down, the little smiles and so many more. It's unbelievable!!!

    Hugs to you! Thank you much for that perspective. I have been beating myself up a bit. The show was so powerful for me as I tried to convey in my review. However meeting him after and shaking his hand and seeing how real he is... How truely beautiful his soul is... He deserves way more respect than I was giving. Made me feel like crap for the amount of time I've spent searching for pics lately. Plz I hope no one feels judged by my words cuz I truely am not judgemental of anyone other than myself. Really this was distracting me from other important things like family. :roll: you are right of course that he is a babe and we would not be human if we didn't notice!
