Dogs or cats

So it's better to have a pet that shits outside and then you have to pick up said shit? With cats, you can stay indoors when it's rainy or snowy and crappy out when they have to go ...
Also, I find the argument about people not liking cats because they shit and pee inside funny ... isn't that what you do? :fp:
Pick it up ohhh were suppose to do that?
My dog knows how to flush anyway.lol
I have many friends that have cats and good for them just not my thing. My family we have always had dogs running around. What can I say were a dog family.[/quote]
I should look into training my cats to use the toilet ...
I was raised with both, so I guess I never really understood how anyone could be just for one or the other. When I was adopting my first cat, I made a comment about how I would get a dog if I could, but it's too hard to do so living in the city. The adoption place girl just gave me this look like I was the craziest person for suggesting I would want to have a dog. Uh, OK."Where's KW?"

Plus, haven't seen too many "cat parks" in the different neighborhoods I've lived in...but awesome dog parks
Enjoy you felines - all pets are cool. Especially if loved and properly cared for...
Thanks! I do enjoy my boys ... they keep me thoroughly entertained!
yeah, that's the one downside to cats ... can't really take them outside. Well, I guess you could, but i'm not about to be one of those dudes walking down the street with a freakin' cat on a leash. :fp:
My cat has a little pink harness and she loves to go outside and watch birdsShe walks pretty well on it. I don't really take her places, but I actually think she would love it. She loves every person and animal she meets and even non-cat people love her because she is so sweet and friendly and playful. She also greets me when I come home and plays fetch, although she tires out easily now that she's 16. She follows me around the house and is super affectionate and loves to eat doritos
And with the litter robot you don't even really have to change the litter box since it's self-cleaning. I have a separate space for that
My neighbor has the litter box outside in their storage space and the cat goes out there to use it. Next cat I am going to train to use the toilet
My other cat was more cat-like, but she used to talk to me all the time and could claw your eyes out if you didn't like her

Well, I guess you could, but i'm not about to be one of those dudes walking down the street with a freakin' cat on a leash. :fp:Before I moved to a place with a porch, I actually did take my cat out on a leash just because the place was small and I felt bad, but I'd do it at 2:30 in the morning so no one would see me doing it, and if I did see anyone coming I'd grab her and hide.
:fp:
I do think it's kind of icky to have a litter box inside though (even though most cat owners do)... I keep mine outside on the balcony and just leave the door open a crack all the time.
Anyway, some cats suck, but others are amazing (like mine), and are so loving and affectionate. Mine won't really leave my side! ... almost annoying sometimes. With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata0 -

I just never understood why people compare them. They are both great animals for their own special reasons. With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata0
