    I had to put my cat Saffie down in May, she was 16 1/2 years old, I had her since she was 6 weeks.

    hardest thing I've ever had to do. :(

    didn't get another one yet but if I did get another animal, it would definitely be a cat over a dog

    Sorry about your cat. :( I just lost mine 2 weeks ago. It's tough; when they die there is just an empty space left behind. But they are definitely worth the sadness that comes when they go! Maybe next year sometime I'll get a kitten... after savoring her new found solitude for a little while, my surviving cat is starting to act like she needs company when I'm not there. Anyway, I think after a bit of time, it's good to find another pet, so I hope you find a special kitty! :)

    2 Dogs and 2 Cats here...you would think that ones house would be smelly with that kind of zoo, but we manage to keep a nice smelling home ;) . We have a white boxer named Pearl, a boxer/lab mix named Bear, and our 2 cats are Chevy and T.J. (Tiny Jack). Vedda ran off a year and a half ago, and i do believe because she was such a sexy kitty that someone took her in. At least I hope she was not a hawk snack :o .

    That is totally unfair - cats are good parents when they've got little ones (in fact, those two cats look to be the same age - probably siblings - so in that case, they are more like people than ever :lol: ), and that's a cat-hater video (albeit a funny one!) - but that whole scene with the doggies is SOOOO CUTE!!!! AWWWWWWWWWW!!!

    I've got two cats. My dad was allergic to dogs so I grew up with cats. I love other's peoples dogs, and they usually like me. I might get a dog one day, but since I don't have any real experience with 'owning' a dog it's not exactly a priority. I wouldn't know how to train him or bathe him properly, etc. Plus comparatively, they're a lot more work than cats. Plus my favorite dogs are the ones that can grow to be a big as me :D and those fuckers need a lot more space than I'll have anytime soon. I love both cats and dogs though.
