The Missoula show was so amazing, I loved being in GA! Most of the people were really nice, MOST is the key word. (I ran into an really nasty and rude person on my way back from taking a bathroom break between Mudhoney and PJ sets.)
Oh yeeaaahhhhh. Bitch-face! She saw me checking her out after that happened, and for the rest of the show shot daggers out her eyes at me every time I happened to glance in her direction . But you're right, aside from that, pretty much everyone was amazing!! Best crowd ever! :)

Me too - I am sure I saw people and didn't realize who they were. But the people I did meet were incredible.

I only met really nice people. It was cool to see people coming from all over the US to a show in my home state, close to my home town.

The whole crowd right to the rafters made it an unforgettable night for me. It was practically orgasmic. thanks again to cutz for getting me on that floor - I can't imagine doing my first show any other way!!

And you're right, Missoula and its people are amazing! I will be back when PJ plays here again. ;)

Same here. I think people had their hopes up that this would be a rarities fest, but instead we just got one rocking show that did end up having a couple of rarer moments with Ghost, Man of The Hour and the whole sit down acoustic set. It was a lot of classic PJ hits, but those songs are awesome so there's not much to complain about. If Ed didn't say he woke up with a cold I don't think anyone would have even noticed.

Amazing! was front row center, Ed splashed wine on me then filled my cup during Rockin In The Free World. If anyone has video of that, I'll sell my soul!! I was in the PJ blue and Orange jersey!

What was everyone's favorite performance from the Missoula show?

Mine is a tie between Nothingman and Man of the Hour.

For me it was... all of them! I was so glad to be there!! But if I had to choose a few favorites one would be Ghost because it's such a well crafted song. I love the immediacy and urgency of it and it's surely one of the more difficult to pull off. Nothingman was way up there for me too. "Fortunate Son" was so awesome- that one really had me jumping. And "Alive" because I was there, alive.

Ahh yes, Fortunate Son was awesome as well. Felt lucky to hear that one, it's easily one of my favorite covers.

  • What a fucking blast this show was! The last time I saw them in such a small venue was The Pissbottlemen show @ The Moore.

Dan, we came, we saw, we rocked the Fuck out!! Great road trip and extended weekend with two of my best friends. So much fun from Octoberfest in Coeur d'Alene to flying plastic @ Blue Mountain to screaming our lungs out word for word w/Eddie and the boys all night. Not everybody "gets it" but I know you do, nothing better than going to a PJ show with a real fan. That Shit was epic and best believe we'll be doing it all again soon.

The vibe in the Adams Center was indescribable - high energy the entire show, sound was killer, great setlist to boot! Speaking of....release the boot!!

What to say, where to start....I've got somewhere around 16 shows under my belt, so hard to keep count seeing that they've been spread out among 19+ years. The boys have been there for the good times and recently carried me through the bad. This band is like fine wine, shows keep getting better and better. I thought nothing could top Night 2 in East Troy, we were back in the lawn with all you yahoo's rocking out like it was a P90X workout. I can't explain my appreciation for outdoor venues (by the way, get your asses back to the Gorge) but intimate arenas like Adams Center, shut the front door. Started nice and easy but by the time Cordury was unleashed it was on. It was great to see the dedicated folks in Section 210 not worrying about catching their breath for the the next 2 1/2 hours, all were there there for a good time as we danced and belted lyric after lyric out, who needs a sing along, the whole night was one big one. Only complaint "Where the fuck was our third, fourth and fifth encores" :nono: Seriously left totally satisfied and can't wait to do it again. Keep up the dedication 10 clubbers. My name is Dan from a small town near Seattle and I'm a jamoholic. Safe travels my friends, see you on the road.

One of my favorite visual memories was when I saw this guy on someone's shoulders maybe 1/3 back in the middle of the floor, rockin' out up there (I thought wow, that's a good strong friend he's got between his legs, lol!), and Ed made a perfect tambourine toss to him, he made a perfect catch, and then got swallowed by the crowd while in his joy. That seemed perfect from where I was for some reason. One of those lasting flashes in my mind, like a photo, that made me happy. :D

I had just turned my head and glanced/saw this too. I thought maybe the tambourine skipped off the crowd (like skipping a rock on water) to the dude, but your version makes more sense. That was amazing, Dude was pumped! I will remember that forever.

Remember this vividly....perfect from my view as well! Would loved to have been him, no matter how much it could have hurt!

I miss the whole town. I really liked it there a LOT. Such nice people, a sense of community even for an outsider (and that's beyond the other PJ people there... I still had that feeling after every 10c member I knew was gone... and I went on to feel welcomed by the locals). Great town!! If PJ plays there again, I'll go back!

Montana is a friendly place...we generally only dislike outsiders that come in with a better than you type of attitude.

My wife and I went to tamarack brewing the night of the show and we could totally pick out which people were headed to the show. It's kind of obvious when you live here, just the way people dress and how they talk is a dead giveaway. Lo and behold, almost every single person that we pegged as there for PJ we ended up seeing at the show. Glad you all had a good time here, come back next time there's a political benefit show :fp: Seems like the only time PJ will come around. So...see you all in another 6 years if Tester gets elected!

We went to Tamarack on the Saturday night and had a great time. The beers were awesome (Hat Trick Hop IPA is the BOMB!) but the 16oz rib eye was nothing special (meh :? ). Nonetheless we all had a great time. The waitress was awesome putting up with all us half cut PJ fans. Missoula was a great place with great people. No doubt I will return if PJ ever plays there again. Hell, I may head back there for no reason at all. Definitely a cool town. Thanks for your hospitality and enduring patience with some of us.

Flew in from ABQ to show my sister, a Missoula native, what a great event a PJ show is. The arena was very nice and we had decent seats. The PJ gang put on a great show as they always do. Missoula is beautiful.
The great vibe from all the fan club members was very nice.

    Now true critique.
The arena was well over 90 degrees with 100% humidity. The setlist was the worst I have ever experienced. As far as epic, well not even close. Now, Soldier Field in 1995 was epic. Seemed like a tour for Riot Act and Avocado(PJ,whatever) , which are my least favorite albums. I'm not just into "old school" PJ, love me some Backspacer. It was nice to confirm why not going to shows in the mid-2000's was a wise choice.

Eagerly anticipating the PJ and Soundgarden tour next year and hey, I get to see Ed in 3 weeks. :D

Missoula, Hamilton (south of Missoula in the Bitterroot valley) with it's tree lined streets, wonderful library, excellent farmer's market. The show, the great people I met. The fantastic vibe. All of it still courses through my veins, marks the high water of my recent emotions. The lingering of fine memories.
