    every democratic society has been through an economic downturn with high unemployment and promises that haven't been kept by a government at some point. So yes, I do get it.

    hoping for a significant change in a partisan system within 4 years is very clearly nearly impossible. the canadain system is just as broken. for example; we have votes of no confidence in our government, that if the current minority government can't get the official opposition to agree to it, a vote of no confidence goes in, and an election is called automatically. none of this "you get 4 years no matter what" stuff. elections can happen at any time in Canada. so we have YEARS of government where NOTHING gets done because the ones in power actually have NO power to put anything through! it's very frustrating as a citizen!

    I personally think you stay the course with Obama. Romney's policies, if indeed he has any, won't do any of us any good.
    I still might give Obama four more
    but he is certainly not working for my Independent vote.

    Is it true those who say he is not dedicated?

    That he dos not work well with others?

    That he stays home evenings, plays way to much golf, goes on late night shows,

    The difference is startling in some states, unemployment so low.

    It seems that is related to natural resources, unemployment amongst the young,
    and part time job availability.

    I also see states with very large populated cities, like New York, Chicago,
    Atlanta, Miami, have some the highest rates for their states.
    Perhaps due to poverty and related problems to this.

    Little Rhode Island is having a hard time
    but Nevada is number one due to home foreclosures, lack of building and loss of
    tourism/ gaming.
