I think when he performs with Slash he knows the expectations are higher.

I think you may be right there.....

    Interview with Myles: http://www.blabbermouth.net/news.aspx?m ... mID=175957

I thought the interviewer could have been more skilled but Myles was very gracious and had no trouble expressing what he wanted to. He seems like a sweetheart. *swoon* :)

Got to see this show last night in Boston. So good, highly recommended! I walked out a big Myles Kennedy fan. Never really knew much about him but he was awesome. Lemmy was in the house and got up on stage at one point. Six Guns n' Roses songs, one Velvet Revolver and finally, FINALLY I got to see the Godfather guitar solo. Great night! These guys are awesome on stage together!

I LOVE them! They really feel like a band, I thought it was going to feel like the Slash show but Myles is amazing. And that Todd "Dammit" Kerns is very entertaining too. Saw them in May and going to see them again in September.:mrgreen::mrgreen:

Lemmy? Did he sing the song he did with Slash?

He sang Doctor Alibi. It was so cool and came our of nowhere. Suddenly there he was on stage!

Cool! Yeah, that's the song! Todd Kerns sings that on tour normally because Myles thinks Todd's voice suits the song more.

Have you listened to Slash's album from 2010? I think it's awesome. He collaborates with a bunch of different singers. Promise with Chris Cornell is kick-ass (but many things Chris Cornell touches often are :mrgreen: ). Keep hoping Chris will jump on stage with these guys, would love to hear a Chris/Myles duet of sorts! And of course Starlight and Back to Cali with Myles Kennedy.

Ahhh, can't wait to see them again!

    Hi Belinda

Gosh, first of all, Foxy Shazam who were the 2nd band to open were just a total trip. So much fun to watch.

Civil War was probably the highlight for me. I didn't realize how much I love that song and Myles killed it, even if he doesn't whistle (he was telling people up front that he can't whistle and he just shrugged, soooo cute!). Also love Rocket Queen, Starlight and Back to Cali. I really wanted to hear Promise, but maybe next time. AND next time I'm going up by the rail, I don't care if it's a school night!

They played for almost 2 hours straight, and the encore was maybe 20 mins. Todd sang more than when I saw them in May which was nice to see, he's so much fun. He's like Mike, he showers the floor with picks. I didn't get one but I bet if I were closer I would have, he was handing them out like candy. Myles was on the guitar more too. Oh, and Gilby Clarke came put towards the end. I didn't know who he was  At least I knew he wasn't Izzy, everyone around me was like, omigod it's Izzy!!

They said "see you next year" so hopefully another tour soon! Wait, weren't they in Australia? Did you catch them???
