the thing is,we cant do anything..if they dont wanna happen,is not gonna happen
i dont know whats the band's problem with it,i dont understand why is big problem to let this happen..
i dont get it,whats the big deal and they dont allow it..
would be cool to see this live from our pc..lets hope they wil let happen to one of the next show..

You know, as always what bothers me is... why keep us here guessing? How about: not going to be live streamed. Maybe a reason. Seems so simple.

In any case, the ATT thing is ludicrous. Didn't they just bleeped Ed's Fuck to ATT? Was that profound? Was there anyone who didn't guess what his thought was? Lame.
... and the will to show I will always be better than before.

I was just watching the webcast. Watching it actually makes me happy that I'm not there. Saw some moshing going on in front of a stage..just not my idea of a good time at all....don't like the music and would hate to have to stand through all that just for PJ...
Im not buying that, my friend...

EACH AND EVERY ONE OF US....
Would LOVE to be at that show tonight...

    Its Pearl Jam LIVE!!!!

    You know it...
    I know it...
    We all know it!!!!

...but I'm sure there are plenty of PJ fans living within a 3 hour drive of the venue who are not attending due to the rest of of music being played.

Why do I see over and over "Ed hates technology"??

Does anyone else remember the spin article that came out right when back spacer came out? He talks about Ed pulling out his iPhone and showing pictures...
If Ed hates technology, why does he have probably one of the most advanced pieces of technology that you can buy?

Where do some of these comments even come from? People act like they know Ed personally and how he feels about everything.

About the webcast. Pearl Jam sells their shows for listening. People saying that it's wrong.., if you can't make the show ( the same reason you want it webcast ) you can buy the bootleg.

Every other artist I can only assume doesn't sell their shows after the fact, maybe that's why they won't stream it.

If you wanted to "see" this show you should have bought a ticket. Simple as that.

PJ soul...I just think the band can use a collective enema and lighten up a bit.

It's a holiday weekend....53 other bands in this festival had no problem being part of the webcast. if PJ doesn't want a 3rd party to broadcast the show (for reasons I don't understand), get a crew and webcast it yourself. I'm not surprised at all....it just think it stinks for the fans, like me, who are 1500 miles away and would gladly pay to watch the webcast.

Exactly! Its a festival sponsored by Budwieser!

Ed doesn't like technology? What kind of corny BS is that?
I don't know. Ask Ed I guess. He won't even use email if he can help it, so i doubt webcasts are his thing! He's all about the live show. Not streaming them onto tiny screens.

No I mean you are hella corny if you think Ed "hates" technology and "wont use email".

Get real dude. I live in NM and would love to see the show, but it's not realistic financially or otherwise. Not everyone can drop their shit for one night with their favorite band as much as they'd like to.
    Don't it make you smile?

Well if you can't get there, you can buy the bootleg.

I wanted to see Pearl Jam this year so I saved money and went to europe. So you could go from NM

I am in Chicago and have seen 29 shows. You don't think I want to see it? I just understand why it won't be streamed. I won't speak for them but can understand if they want you to either buy the bootleg or buy a ticket to the show.

My point before was, it will be hard to get this show from any other artist there, so the stream is allowed. Pearl Jams show will be available later, so no stream.

Just because you want something doesn't mean you should get it. I want 389 million dollars... Oh well.

  • Here's the thing...they have every right to stand their ground and not want to stream because of whatever happened in 2007. However, I still see it as a dick move to the fans for not allowing streaming. If it's because the show will be available on here later on instead, it's still a dick move. Although we'd all listen to it now, I'm sure if they released a boot later on of the performance, people would still buy it. I know I would.

They seemed to have "forgiven" ticketmaster, as I see Ed's tickets are available through there. So why such a chip on their shoulders from the incident with AT&T in 2007?
