I hope he pitches next year but already having a notch in his trouble belt while playing for the Yankees doesn't help him that's for sure. I'm sure once the brass gets a hold of him...if they haven't already...his ass will definately be chapped.0 -
Fortunately for Pineda, MLB treats DWIs like they treat parking tickets. Stupid mistake, but really has no bearing on the trade aside from the fact it is a distraction to his rehab. Am sure Cashman and Co. put him in his place.0

Seems like I picked a good game not to watch last night. Bullpen strugging a bit, huh?0

Yeah, theere won't be any MLB issues with this. I'm just sure the first conversation he had with Cashman on the phone he probably had to hold it about 3 feet from his ear! These athletes, celebrities, etc. that do this stuff is just mindblowing. You have money man, get a cab. :fp:

So there is this Anonymous PR guy who has written a few things on Deadspin and is currently answering questions. One question was about the "Best athlete feud we dont know about" And his answer was "Yankees players and Nick Swisher"
Interesting...

I do remember seeing in SI earlier this year I believe it was, something about the 5 most hated baseball players and Swisher's name is there. My ex actually met him at the All Star game in 09 and said he couldn't be nicer. She had a Blackberry at the time and when it crashed he waited a couple of minutes for the phone to reboot just so she could have a pic with him that hse forwarded to me.0 -

Yeah, I am sure it is the combination of that. He seems great with fans, but I can see how he would rub teammates the wrong way. Who knows if that is this though0 -
