    I just saw that the first casino was built in Atlantic City in 1978. My parents took me there around 1988 for the first time when I was a kid so that made the casinos on the boardwalk at the max ten years old. I think they had just built the first one over in the marina. All I remember was how big a dump all of the properties were and I was a kid from Utica, NY where a house with 2 bathrooms impressed me. Oh well, just a random thought.


    Oh yeah...this too. I'm CRAVING one so bad!! :fp:

    I drove from Philly to AC a few years ago...I was so stoked about it...until I got into AC and immediately wanted to turn around :lol: What a shithole!

    I would, however, like to go to Reno sometime...just to say I did....probably even worse than AC.

    Those octanes look delicious sir! I have that same cup, the one on the right, at home ready and waiting to be filled!

    Yes, Reno is on my list as well just to say I went there. The reason for my post is my buddy asked me if I wanted to drive with him to AC for a weekend. After looking at it...factoring in gas, hotels, tolls(for non East COasters you'd be surprised at these when traveling and how quickly they add up)etc. we can fly to Vegas for a weekend for maybe $200 bucks more per person if that. The only draw that AC has vs. Las Vegas is the ocean. Rooms are so fucking cheap right now in Vegas. :think:

    Everytime I go I get the all day pass. Start the day sober (semi sober) riding all three rides there 4 or 5 times. Then end up there at night shitfaced doing it again. :lol: People who go to Vegas get annoyed with me and my affection for the rides up there. :lol:

    I still remember my best friend while we were on Insanity. He only went once. It's not the ride that is scary at all, it's just the height. They swing you out and before you start going in circles there's a moment where you just sit there. I started rocking the car and he smacked me so hard I seriosuly thought we were going to fight after it was done. :lol::lol:
