Me and my 4 best friends are heading to Vegas in 3 weeks. It will be my first time. We're catching the Toadies and Helmet at the Hard Rock. I expect mass debauchery.

I saw the Toadies and Helmet last month, it was a GREAT show!
And in Vegas?? You're going to have a BLAST. Is the show at the Joint or the Venue? Either way Hard Rock has some cool venues. I definitely suggest going to Fat Tuesdays for drinks with extra shots - they're all over on the strip. Where are you staying? What other kind of stuff do you guys plan on doing? Gambling, sightseeing, dining, clubbing? There's so much to do and something for everyone.

Seriously 5 nights for me - I feel like someone beat me within an inch of my life Came out pretty even in the end...which is amazing considering all the frozen treats I bought! There was also a Jameson shot night...that's the one that ended with my group at the Crazy Horse I gotta say too, I was pleasantly surprised staying at the Stratosphere, nice big rooms, good casino floor, great sportsbook. I'd stay there again. We had a car and even though traffic's a bitch - there's really nothing cooler than driving down Las Vegas Boulevard

I got one of the souvenir glasses that you get cheaper refills on...worked at every frozen drink place, even the ones that weren't fat tuesdays, like coyote ugly! I may have looked like a degenerate carrying a plastic cup with me all weekend but I really didn't care Did you know that if you mix an octane with a hurricane it's called a 44 magnum? The show was supposed to be at the Joint, but they moved it to the Poolside stage. Not sure how I feel about that. My flight lands first at 9am, I will try to be somewhat coherent when the rest of the crew lands at 3pm.
We are staying at the MGM in one of their new suites. For 5 guys, it seemed to be the best deal for the $$$.
We will be spending time in some sports books. Definitely some gambling, we have one guy who will likely need some restraint at the tables. Dining....planning on at least sushi and steaks, separate nights of course. And DRINKING> It doesn't matter where, club, bar, casino, etc. Our livers will probably feel like we took them out and played soccer with them by the time Tuesday rolls around. Strippers will probably come into play at some point, not sure if we're going to hit up a club, or just hire private ones. It seems to be about the same price. And anything else we can get ourselves into without going to jail.
I think the plane ride home Tuesday is going to blow. Hopefully my ass will just pass out.

As for sportsbooks - The Mirage has an amazing one and Stratosphere actually has a really cool setup for football on Sundays. Other than that, there's no lack of good restaurants or bars, so you guys are going to have a blast! I would actually also recommend renting a car. When I went, we had a car for 5 days, cost $90. We would have spent that much alone in cabs to and from the airport. All the casinos have free parking and it's nice to have just in case. But if you're trying to get from one end of the strip to the other, don't take LV Blvd, take Koval which is a couple streets over.
And have a freaking awesome time!!!
