yeah she showed up and wrestled this guy and won. everyone was shocked to see her. she stll looks great, btw.

yeah everything has already been done before. it is just re-done with younger talent...

oh yeah, you should have heard these people yelling obsceneties at the bad guys and they were legitimately upset when things did not go how they wanted them to... even the little kids were angry and screaming things lol... my friends and i would boo the good guys though, so i can imagine that made those people even more upset lol.... people around me booed the shit out of cena lol... he would do a move and people would just mercilessly boo him lol... people around me booed the rock too  it must have been all of the beers...

:lol: The few times I've gone I always cheer on the heels too. A few years ago my friends and I were going crazy for Khali...everyone around us got for real pissed about it  Yeah, Cena's haters REALLY hate him, but he makes WWE tons of money so he's not going anywhere for a long time!

Hmm ... I don't really know how anyone could hate Cena after watching his Oscar-worthy performance in The Marine.

booing the faces is awesome. there is a local indy promotion here in town that puts on shows the first saturday of the month that we have been to a few times. it is at a local athletic club and the wrestling and storylines and mic skills is just awful... but the people there love the faces and HATE the heels, so we show up, sit in the front row ringside, next to the champion's family and friends, and just boo the shit out of him. the best is when there is a dull moment in the match where the crowd is really quiet, where the champ has a guy in an armbar or something or has him tied up in the corner and he looks at the crowd so they cheer we stand up and yell "BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!" and he looks over at us like "really?? wtf??":lol::lol:

it costs $5 to get in and it is $2 beers all night, so there is a heavy college student presence there because it is so cheep to drink, and by the end of the night those kids are booing the faces too lol...

but yes, people take their support for their fave wrestlers very seriously around here.

that one comes from a long line of epic, classic films of our time such as "no holds barred" and "suburban commando"... cena has a high bar to aspire to, and i just don't think he quite cuts it....it could be the script, or it could be his acting, but something is amiss in those movies lol...

    My thoughts.

I enjoyed the 1000th episode a lot. DX opening up, I was hoping that the New Age Outlaws would make an appearance and glad they did, pretty funny.

Undertaker returning with his "brother" to reform the Brothers of Destruction. His new haircut was a little surprising though (shaved with a mohawk, kinda like Road Warrior Animal).

Seeing the legends returning was cool, like Animal, Sid, Vader, Lita, Trish, Bob Backlund, Doink, APA...

Everyone knew something was gonna happen at the wedding.

The CM Punk heel turn was pretty good I thought and probably needed.

Agree with everyone else in wondering where was one of my fav wrestlers in Stone COld Steve Austin was :?: A little surprised but not really that they didn't mention any of the wrestlers in TNA that were part of RAW (Angle, Hardys, Dudleys, etc...)

Also I'mm surprised they didn't mention what I consider the most memorable episode of RAW ever, The Own Hart special :(

I watched RAW 1,000 on Monday. I thought the opening with DX was great. Unscripted and felt like old times.

I hoped that opening would translate through the rest of the show. I don't think it quite got there though.

Having Trips come out in his DX gear and try to be taken seriously with Brock was hard for me to believe.

I think CM Punk is the best wrestler in the WWE today...really like his persona.

Read yesterday that Stone Cold has knee surgery a few weeks ago and that's the reason he didn't show up.

There were people tweeting that he grabbed his chest, went down, and his face was blue. I guess it was in the middle of a match. Surprised they kept it under wraps being. They had him out of the arena in 60 seconds according to some. Pretty freaking crazy. He fought in a match earlier in the show.

yeah he was commentating a match when it happened , Kane/Daniel Bryan vs The Prime Time Players

He did wrestle in a tag match right before then w/ Randy Orton vs Dolph Ziggler and CM Punk. I think he got hurt during that match cause he took a shot to the chest from Dolph which I'm sure didn't help.

PWInsider.com is reporting that a fan at ringside noted that Lawler began snoring right before he collapsed.
Before that, Lawler communicated with a ringside employee. Lawler grabbed his arm and turned blue as he fell, which could be signs of a heart attack. EMT’s and WWE doctors tended to Lawler immediately. His shirt was ripped open so they could begin medical assistance. Lawler was rushed backstage via stretcher and then taken to a local hospital via ambulance.
After Lawler was taken away, the WWE ring crew quickly cleaned up at ringside as it appeared Lawler may have gotten sick before he collapsed.

WWE has noone to blame themselves for this. Enough enoughs of seeing him in the ring. It's like why not drag out flair or something.

I noticed something wasn't right with him. He was very quiet during the match after his tag match and then I saw him speak to one of the ringside crew and saw the crowd look over towards the announcing table.

I agree that these dudes are too old to be doing it but at the same time they're doing it to themselves. I strongly believe that Flair wants to die in the ring...

the wwe has what they a legends contract. Once you sign that, you have to make a few in ring appearances throughout the year. It's why bret hart was there last night and just recently hbk was in the ring and all the legends leading up to and during raw1000 were in the ring. I always worry with this would happen to the king, but never thought it ever happened. I'm glad to read the king is doing better.

That was a pretty sweet feud they had goin. Probably around the same time they had a "kiss my foot" match" and I remember during the lead up they had King doing all kinds of gross shit bare foot to make his foot as gross as possible. In the end Hart ended up shoving King's foot in his own mouth.
