Received mine yesterday in Denver. Wow, what an amazing print. The colors are full and vibrant throughout the entire image. It has a 3D effect with the overlay of different colors/textures. Very cool. IMO this beats the Billboard print (maybe not in concert significance though). 8-)

Came home to this nice surprise today. Love the colors. One of the better prints i have gotten recently. http://i948.photobucket.com/albums/ad32 ... AG0136.jpg

The red on Spawns Cape and boots is just ridiculous.

May end up matting this with a black, thin line lime green, then maybe another black matte.
Will have to play around with the colors.
    The Red just POPS!

Suziemay, I got mine from McFarlane today in Springfield, MO. Go to expressobeans forum http://forum.expressobeans.com/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=94133 to see what some people have been saying about McFarlene. Mine was horribly packaged, however, no serious damage to it.

That is crazy, especially the pics of the one guys poster tube. It looks like his mailman was Conan the Barbarian.

Glad I received mine with no problems yesterday.

I got mine from McFarlane today, looked like he rolled it up real tight and shoved it in the tube before it could spiral out. One corner was bent, folded over, thankfully not into the print, just on the border. And the other looked bent from shoving it in (that's what she said). AND the tube wasn't even taped over the plastic, anyone could have opened and taken it easily...

Bellyaching aside, the print is amazing, bends will frame right out, and it will look awesome next to my framed do the evolution poster. Can't wait to go get it framed this weekend, just have to figure out how to make it look awesome without spending a ton on the frame since the thing is huge (again, that's what she said).

Now if I could just get a DTE cel from the video to go along with it... :)
Wouldn't it be funny if the world ended in 2010, with lots of fire?

Holy hell that all sounds awful :( A buddy just got his poster from McFarlane and is pretty upset, I was curious if others had the same experience. Clearly wasn't packed with any care at all. Such a shame. Glad your print didn't suffer any serious damage but it's still not right. Other than the mangled tube I saw on ebeans, hope everyone's prints arrives largely undamaged. I got mine at the show, told the merch guys to piss off because there was no chance in hell they were rolling these without damaging them. Seems like McFarlane might have been using the same help.

mine came spiraled, but no visible damage.....a few small creases only visible on the bottom back of the poster....maybe the person who rolled it was a bit heavy handed?

    Anyone else get their posters/numbers?

This poster imo just blows away the PJ20 10C poster.

Apart from the signatures is there a difference between these and the posters from the show in terms of color or the paper it's printed on?

  • Got mine from McFarlane today (#41) and thankfully it's in good shape :D No tape on the ends of the tube but the tube looked like it wasn't damaged at all, had to very carefully remove it. There's a small crease in the black on the bottom but not really visible, thankful I was one of the lucky ones. This poster looks amazing, the colors are just insane, really great quality, wish the thugs that manhandled them for the unlucky folks had some more sense about them. This makes up for what looks to be no trip to Montana for me :)

From Maxx or McFarlane store?

Someone just posted on Lost Dogs about it: viewtopic.php?f=20&t=193109

He didn't say Maxx or McFarlane though. I'm thinking it's McFarlane, wasn't that an issue with the Billboard posters? People who got the Billboard through Munk One got charged customs fees but not Maxx. I could be remembering this all wrong though so what do I know!

That sucks about the customs fees for folks overseas :(

    It was from MacFarlane

    125 (US) poster
    22 (US) shipping
    Total Cost 147.00 (153.83 (CND)
    60.12 import fee

Total cost for poster 213.95 (CND)

That is ridiculous for a poster.

Does that mean you haven't accepted it yet? I don't know the rules around these things but there's a strong chance the print is damaged if it's from McFarlane. Take that into consideration before you accept it if you haven't already. Not saying yours will be damaged, there have been some people who received it in decent shape. I know that doesn't help you actually get this print but at least you won't be out a bunch of money and with a damaged print.

Never had any problems with USPS but with UPS, I don't like their service at all. Any item shipped from the USA to Canada by UPS they brutally hammer us with brokerage & service fees. I mean they let us have it. Thank god many artists use USPS instead of UPS when shipping out their posters & merchandise. While back I bought something from Amazon.com and it was shipped by UPS. It was a gift ($500 item) and UPS dude wanted around $180 dollars @ the door. I told them I'm not paying. They asked they will attempt another 2 times and it will ship back to the shipper. I told them to go nuts, send it back. Item came back to the shipper & I got my refund for the item I placed on Amazon.

My bad. I'm misremembering then. I know one of the poster artists consistently puts the full value of the poster when he ships and folks overseas always get hit with custom fees. Not sure who that is then, for some reason I thought it was Munk One. Oops (sorry Munk if you read this board   )

Few artists do and sometimes they forget and they do put the full value on it. Or forget to check mark "gift" on the custom form and they check "merchandise" instead. Many year's back when Ames Bros did the subscriptio packages, I wasn't charged anything at the door. In '10, I think 5 prints came in one tube? and I was charged @ the door only $30 bucks. And it's value was over $200. Here UPS charged DN36753 $60.12 for a $150 dollar print @ the door.
