The sad thing is Todd doesn't even know the monstrosities going on with how his poster was shipped. It is his customer service butchering the entire experience for 100 lucky fans!0 -
The guy I bought the print from Lives down the street from his store and said that Todd is on vacation so maybe when he gets back something might happen??? But like I said, my print has a ink problem. Just have to Waite it out I guess.0

I wonder if Todd checks up his Facebook page. I say this cause he posts info & sales on his latest works & projects there. Is it he who is posting all this info or his customer service reps? But what's weird is his posts & images of the PJ print on the Facebook Like page are all gone. Deleted off the site since the problems were coming along.0 -

No chance he makes those posts himself. His twitter account is the same way - someone runs that for him, for sure.Download the unofficial <a href="http://bit.ly/PJStatTracker">Pearl Jam Stat Tracker</a> app for iPhone/iPad. It's <em>FREE.</em>

I have a very hard time believing that McFarlane hasnt heard about the shipping fiasco within his own company. And so you see, I have come to doubt

Maxx242's customer service is amazing, Friend had his print delivered damadged. Although most likely from USPS, cause the tube had a huge dent and crease in it. He e-mailed pics to Maxx and was sent a new print. I'm assuming he gave him one from his personal stash. Maxx did the same thing when the Billboard print oversold, sending out some of his personal stash # 1/500 -

But then again, McFarlane is not a poster artist and seems bigger than the ones I normally buy from. Just seems like too much time has gone on with nothing from McFarlane which is a shame. I'm sure that will not affect his fan base, but it does leave a sour taste in the mouth and countless unnecessarily damaged artwork. I mean, I've gotten damaged posters before and it was painful to see, I imagine it would hurt more when it's your own work? No?0 -
Anyone have any first pics of a complete frame job on this bad boy?
I'm thinking of doing this one myself. It's been a couple of years since I've framed my own poster. And so you see, I have come to doubt

Just got this back from the shop, originally wanted a 3" red matting, but went down to 2 to keep the cost down, and it's still huge. I was one of the few lucky ones who ordered from McFarlane and received it in one piece. The pictures do not do it justice, this thing is amazing, and really has made up for not being able to make Missoula, while getting me pumped for MIA at the same time.

Wow, that is Killer.
I was thinking of a similar color scheme, but I really like the shade of red you used. Is that a felt type of red matte? And so you see, I have come to doubt

Thanks! The red mat is a velvet looking material, but up close it almost looks like threading or a web-type design on it, really looked great with the theme of the poster. And the frame is a hammered metal, can't really tell with the photos since I took them on my phone, but the color of the frame goes well with the grays/silvers in the print. Couldn't be happier with this print"I'm a lucky man to count on both hands the ones I love."

Thanks! Hope you're able to find one of these eventually or 10C at least puts some unsigned ones up on here so more people have a chance to get their hands on these at a reasonable price.
My fiance almost killed me for this one, but even she admitted it looks amazing once I got it back in the frame"I'm a lucky man to count on both hands the ones I love."

DavidD wrote:When I bought it there was no word of damages and it was from someone from here that is trusted he got it and sent it to me. And I was the first to open it, the damages are not too bad on my print, nothing a frame won't hide. But i do have a issue with the ink on the right bottom side Of the print. So no I would not have bought a damaged print if I had known about the damage.
hey david, the seller should be responsible for it. even if you were the first to open it, if he flipped it that fast without even checking it before sending it out, its his responsibility to make sure you have a mint print. get a refund man and have him cover shipping costs both ways. because you shouldnt have to pay for return shipping either if he didnt check he was sending you a mint poster. i really think the price of this print may end up between 225-250 (its already settled around 250). so, you may be able to get it for much cheaper later on (esepcially after the 10c sale).0 -
