That's good news. However, I'm still getting the same message: "no tickets currently available". I tried a different computer and got the same thing. Dunno.....I'll keep tryin'. Thanks!

try going to midtowns page and go through their links. I'm pulling tickets from there currently.

Got some. Thanks for the help! Not sure what was going on but tried again and was able to pull a GA pass for Saturday no problemo. Can't wait

I know I will be at Avett Brothers and Foo Fighters, give me some recomendations!

Really looking forward in seeing PJ, of course, Foos, Avett Brothers, Joan Jett, and I'll probably checkout Florence and the Machine - maybe even the two rap acts. I'm still REALLY hoping for Band of Horses to be added.

I don't want the summer to pass quickly but at least I have this to look forward to in September.

so i was looking around for Band of Horses concerts close to the event. They are playing Alpharetta, GA on the 24th of August with MMJ. As a concert promoter, i can say that IF they are playing Music Midtown, they may not announce anything until the 25th. The Alpharetta, GA contract may have a radius clause in effect that wont let them announce anything until after that show. It can go as far as saying they cant play withing a certain number of miles for up to 90 days after that show. (the show is only 26 miles from the festival).
I know some shows i have booked have a 100 mile radius.

Not trying to let everyone down, just giving some insight from an insiders point of view

I don't see them waiting that long to announce it, so it looks like no BOH. That sucks.

I'm assuming the whole point in waiting to announce acts is to get another run of ticket sales. If that is the case, I would think the announcement would come before the end of the month.

For any of you who booked the Hampton..... do you guys plan on walking to the festival? Or is there public transportation you plan to use? I am flying in from CA and have not been to ATL in a LONG time, so I can't even remember the area. I assume it will be a clusterf*ck to try to drive anywhere.

Also, do you know if the hotel is in a safe area for when we are walking back? Since I have no clue about the area, I want to make sure 2 females walking back alone would be ok or if I should plan on TRYING to get a cab or something.
