    That's good news. However, I'm still getting the same message: "no tickets currently available". I tried a different computer and got the same thing. Dunno.....I'll keep tryin'. Thanks!

    try going to midtowns page and go through their links. I'm pulling tickets from there currently.

    Got some. Thanks for the help! Not sure what was going on but tried again and was able to pull a GA pass for Saturday no problemo. Can't wait :D

    Yeah PJ is a no brainer haha.
    I have seen Foos in an arena before, I hoping the outdoor venue with a stricter timeslot will meet my expectations as they played close to 3 hours in the arena..
    Florence and the Machine will probably be a good set.

    Other problem is that I'm flying in Friday morning/afternoon ish. So hopefully nothing is delayed and we can get to the festival quickly..

    I'm new the 10C and the forum so I figured i should post somewhere! I'm totally planning on seeing PJ at Midtown and cannot wait! I'll only be going to the second night so I unfortunately won't be seeing the Foo, but i just saw them on their tour last year so not terrible news. IDEALLY it would be great to run down to Deluna and catch PJ again but they don't offer single day tickets.. such a waste!

    oh well, can't wait 'til September!

    so i was looking around for Band of Horses concerts close to the event. They are playing Alpharetta, GA on the 24th of August with MMJ. As a concert promoter, i can say that IF they are playing Music Midtown, they may not announce anything until the 25th. The Alpharetta, GA contract may have a radius clause in effect that wont let them announce anything until after that show. It can go as far as saying they cant play withing a certain number of miles for up to 90 days after that show. (the show is only 26 miles from the festival).
    I know some shows i have booked have a 100 mile radius.

    Not trying to let everyone down, just giving some insight from an insiders point of view

    I don't see them waiting that long to announce it, so it looks like no BOH. That sucks.

    I'm assuming the whole point in waiting to announce acts is to get another run of ticket sales. If that is the case, I would think the announcement would come before the end of the month.

    For any of you who booked the Hampton..... do you guys plan on walking to the festival? Or is there public transportation you plan to use? I am flying in from CA and have not been to ATL in a LONG time, so I can't even remember the area. I assume it will be a clusterf*ck to try to drive anywhere.

    Also, do you know if the hotel is in a safe area for when we are walking back? Since I have no clue about the area, I want to make sure 2 females walking back alone would be ok or if I should plan on TRYING to get a cab or something.

    The reason they wait is so that each venue gets its chance to sell out the tickets. If the other show does sell out, they may be able to announce it earlier. I agree that I dont think they will wait that long to announce them.

    my cousin that is flying in from Ft. Lauderdale for the festival got a deal similar to this back when tickets first went onsale. Not sure if it was that good, but pretty close. I told him that it's going to cost me more to drive up there from Tallahassee than it is for him to fly! :shock:

    Looks like BOH is playing Deluna on Saturday. Curious to see the rest of the Saturday schedule. Looking at the band playing Friday and Sunday at Deluna, maybe gaslight anthem will be added.
