Hope everyone who was there had a rocker. We were on our way to get the train out to the gig when my friend passed out and smashed his head on the ground down by the canal. Me and my OH spent the gig in the hospital with him and the whole time 'Brain of J' was playing over in my head. I was somehow devastated and delighted when I logged in to see that it was played tonight! Thankfully my friend got the all-clear and everyone's settled back down now. We will be in attendance tomorrow night, where I will keep my fingers crossed for 'Immortality' or 'Off He Goes', but will be just as elated to be there and with all my travel companions intact.0

BrainOfJHA wrote:Wow! look at what was crossed off the setlist... Long Road, Immortality, Of the Girl, Of The Earth, PiL, BABA! This show would have been even more epic if those were left in :!:
32 songs originally on the setlist btw...
imo eddie wrote all those songs down w/ the intention of crossing a few off
he went w/ what he felt the crowd needed
no long road to get the crowd rocking from the beginning
plus of the earth would have killed the vibe that was going on at the time
immortality would have been sick
as for baba vs ritfw....i guess it was a last minute vibei post on the board of a band that doesn't exsist anymore .......i need my head examined.......0 -
the changed the setlist, cos they said,at encore 2 wanna play request of the fans holding signs"...Dimitri...He talks to me...'.."The Ghost of Greece..".

Mike was on fire during Even Flow, but hey isn't he always. Might one of the best EF ever heard live...
He was struggling during the beg of the solo in Black even saying F*ck to the crew and shaking his head...
Great show, great crowd and AMAZING sound..Give a monkey a brain and he'll swear he's the center of the Universe...0 -
:-o Insane setlist, roll on Berlin'It's a sad and beautiful world' - Mark Linkous0

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING SHOW!!!!
The set list was brilliant. The energy was incredible and the band really seemed to be enjoying themselves. I may be bias as all I wished for the two shows I saw on this tour was ' Brain of J' and 'Comatose'. I have never seen them performed live and totally flipped when I heard them coming on. I can leave back for NYC now and not feeling sad for missing night 2 ( I say that now). Will see them again in Philly in September.
Here are two videos from last night's performance:

Brilliant show. I finally got to hear Brain of J live. It was also great that they finish with Indifference.
I had seated ticket completely at the back of the venue. Tonight I'm standing ... which is much better
Gotta go queuing in a few hours ...
By the way, the new venue is great !0 -

Is it true that the wristband is only for early entry?
And not for entrance towards the pitt?
The only purpose for the wristband is early entry access. If you arrive to the venue after the public doors open you do not need to collect the wristband as it no longer has a purpose. You may simply enter with just your ticket.0 -
amazing show, amazing crowd and amazing venue.
Lets see if they can top it tonight! it will take some beating, but i think it can be done!2003 - Sydney x3,2006 - Reading Festival,2007 - Katowice, London, Nijmegen, Rock Werchter,2008 - MSG x2, Hartford, Mansfield x2, Beacon Theater,2009 - Melbourne, Sydney,2010 - I watched it go to fire!2011 - EV Brisbane x3, Newcastle, Sydney x3,2012 - Manchester x 2, Amsterdam x2, Prague, Berlin x2, Stockholm, Oslo, Copenhagen,2014 - Sydney, EV Sydney x3

Lastnight outstanding... Great fun kinks tribute for the kids, Comatose ripped the 2nd encore wide open and the crowd definitely knew it... though overall the Dutch crowd seemed to have pretty subdued energy, i felt much bouncier than those around me. Talked to some great people in the crowd though.
Could anyone please email me if you have an extra wristband for tonight!!! Love reign oér me baby!
