    June 18th in Scheveningen....

It's my mum's b-day, Father's Day AND I'll be in the wrong country (my parents won't be too happy either!).

One way to save on plane tickets would be to swim across the Channel ;)
    Like a cloud dropping rain
    I'm discarding all thought
I'll dry up, leaving puddles on the ground
I'm like an opening band for the sun

Once you post some more solid details... I'm sure you can get some other folks coming over from other countries... There was somethign similar in London last year.. and people don;t exactly need an excuse to come to Amsterdam for the weekend...with a Pearl Jam fuelled day trip to Scheveningen....

If anyone is thinking about going to more than one gig and fancies something a bit different(and cheap) for travel and accomodation.... there's a tour bus getting set up....

Fraser and I are rearranging all we can to ensure we use it to its full, cos it's sure to be a riot:

see if it fits in with your plans....

It has been a long time indeed, hope everything is great!

And for those interested Wolfmother will be the pre-show in Arnhem.

I'm listening to them as I speak... all the right hooks are there... I've not decided if they have the ZING yet... but they'll sure be a good live band.

I am a huge fan of Pearl Jam as well as Scottland. I'll be wearing my pants made of Scottish national tartan. Hehe :) See you there in Arnheme guys. We'll turn the place inside out. Can't wait for the concert and then hang out afterwards.
Why do I keep fuckin' up?

Sounds like a plan... Send us a photo of your tartan pants and we can tell you what name it represents... for instance... fraser wears the "fraser" tartan, whereas I wear a tartan which represents my national name... Maybe we should design our very own Pearl Jam tartan or city of Seattle Tartan... There was a dutch tartan offically recognised last year...

Sounds like a plan... It's not a photo of my pants (I have two pairs so recommend which ones to wear) but pictures of the tartan itself:
    This is Douglas (Green) WR1032

and this is Scottish National Universal Tartan WR2154

But it sounds great to design our own Pearl Jam tartan... any suggestions?

My aunt & uncle (on the american side of the family) are of "Crawford" origin. I remember my uncle wearing a kilt with lots of red in it!

Mudhoney are great - wasn't able to catch them in London! It just seems it's one of those bands that will go on for ever! Can't wait to read your blog on the shows!
