Central Park Update 9/29

If this does turn out to be a free show, it will draw several hundred thousand people. I remember seeing footage of Simon/Garfunkel, and Diana Ross when they played ther park.....huge portion of the crowd had no view of the stage...more of just a communal listening experience.0

As long as the sound is good, I could live with just a few glimpses of the stage.severed hand thirteen2006: Gorge 7/23 2008: Hartford 6/27 Beacon 7/1 2009: Spectrum 10/30-31

This seems right in tune with Dave Grohls need for attention......
Playing a concert signifies a need for attention?

So how sure are we on this PJ thing then?
Couldn't this be just Foo Fighters all along, and someone just made a mistake thinking it would be PJ too?
Would Foo even need Pj to fill Central Park? Foo must be one of the biggest rockband and all ages listen to them.
They did that Hyde Park thing, the biggest Foo show. Maybe this is them outdoing themselves?
I bet PJ will not be there."Mostly I think that people react sensitively because they know you’ve got a point"0 -

Both bands were in early discussions to do a summer tour together, which is what fueled the rumors/whispers, but nothing ever came of it.To quote the 10C from Newsletter #8: "Please understand we have a lot of members and it is very hard to please everybody.
