My source says that we should all stop bugging out and wait for an official announcement.

I like where your head is at.

Thinking about making a trip out there in the Fall to visit a friend and Bridge School would fit perfectly in my schedule.

Believe me they know the difference and all three said they were told both bands are playing. Maybe their boss was told the info before PJ was confirmed. I don't know. Like I said I didn't post it to get people angry I posted it b/c I was happy to hear the news and thought others might be too. And it wasn't just my buddies that were told, there were 2 other people on here who heard the same thing.

Sorry Jose, I took your post the wrong way-my bad!! Yea I know info can get twisted around and I know 100 pacer squashed this one. I even asked my buddies again after reading 100pacers post to make sure and all 3 said yes definitely they were told PJ AND the foos. I think Liliny81 said she heard that they were still in talks so who knows whats going to happen.

this seems like no chance now? since they playing philly, it be weird to play philly then nyc 3 weeks later it not like pj lives in the area, if you gonna tour you dont want to tour weird like that, so id say if they do play ny city it be msg in early september now?
  • pj23yankspj23yanks Posts: 262
MSG is not available in the begining of September due to being renovated. The new Arena in Brooklyn won't be available because Jay Z wants to be the first concert there. I can't see them playing the Nassau Coliseum after 2003 so that would leave the Prudential Center in Jersey as the only option.

I'll throw my vote in for The Rock. Maybe we'll see a new Banner hanging from the rafters too :D
They will need 3 nights to satisfy us Northeastern fans. I am so sick of the ticket bloodbath....
Thank you fellow 10 clubber for saving my ass....again!!!

I would love to see another banner up there :) the issue with the Rock is that the last time they played there it wasn't a sell out, but that was probobaly because the two shows at MSG. They could also play the Izod Center which is one of the worst venues in the country.

the newark show was only announced something like 6 weeks before the show and you had the 2 msg shows to compete with. It's not like the newark show was empty, there were a few tiny sections that didn't sell tickets. much more people attended the newark show than k.c., st louis, columbus, and cleveland.

Izod is by no means a special building, but it sounds phenomenal in there.
