Does anyone else feel like if this were to happen "the more the merrier"? I understand we all to a certain degree feel that Pearl Jam is our band but I'd imagine that this could potentially introduce a lot of new fans to Pearl Jam in the greatest way possible, live.
I think that this would be a great opportunity for both Pearl Jam and people who maybe have only casually listened to Pearl Jam or who were too young to have grown up during the nineties. The sight of 200,000 people would also most likely inspire Pearl Jam to play a very special show. I think I'd rather treat Pearl Jam inclusively than exclusively.

Does anyone else feel like if this were to happen "the more the merrier"?
I'm sort of leaning this way. I would definitely not go and expect to get my full concert fix the way I would of any MSG show, but it will be fun nevertheless and I would probably plan to go with some of my "regular" friends that I've kinda banned from going to PJ shows with me on 10c seats Actually, they banned themselves, they don't feel worthy and are afraid to disappoint me for their lack of fandom.

It would be beautiful to see PJ outdoors, in the park, under a moon lit night....with the cool Sept. breeze carrying the thumping bass out to the city streets.

I don't care if folks criticize the idea. Whatever. To each his own. I've had my own criticisms (even about this - of course it doesn't "replace" a show at MSG. It's something different. Different is good. There'll be another show at MSG at some point.). But, I really don't care if you don't go. Are you hoping they don't do it b/c you say you're not going. :?
