    If you live in the NY area there is no reason not to go.

    But ofc, many people will choose not to travel for this because of these reasons given.

    If I stayed away from Pearl Jam concerts, to avoid free loaders....

    in fairness....he said it would cost him a grand for travel....i can't see myself dropping that sort of a coin on a show unless it's someplace cool (not ny) and has the chance to be an awesome show (see philly 09)

    Does anyone else feel like if this were to happen "the more the merrier"? I understand we all to a certain degree feel that Pearl Jam is our band but I'd imagine that this could potentially introduce a lot of new fans to Pearl Jam in the greatest way possible, live.

    I think that this would be a great opportunity for both Pearl Jam and people who maybe have only casually listened to Pearl Jam or who were too young to have grown up during the nineties. The sight of 200,000 people would also most likely inspire Pearl Jam to play a very special show. I think I'd rather treat Pearl Jam inclusively than exclusively.
