Got my Rush tickets yesterday... can't wait! Funny a Canadian band tours the south more frequently than PJ...
Same here..going to the Dallas show. You doing Houston only?
Rush has been to Dallas 4 times since the last time PJ played here...will probably be 5 times by the end of the year. :fp:

Yea, just Houston unfortunately... that time of the year (december) I can't commit to anything else... busy time of year with prepping for christmas, christmas parties, in-laws, etc...
I can't wait though... Rush is on my bucket list of concerts, haven't seen them before, but I'm a huge fan... had excellent tickets to their show at the woodlands last time they passed through TX, but had to travel out of town for work last second and missed it... really disappointed.... my tickets for the upcoming show in december aren't near as good unfortunately... :fp:
Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.

I've seen Rush twice before within the last 6 years. They put on a great show, regardless of where you sit. They are really tight live. I always go with a large group of people who like to sit together (7 people!) so our seats usually aren't ideal. We were last row of the pavillion before the lawn the first time I saw them and it was still an awesome show. This time, we're in the section across the floor, directly facing the stage..4th row of the section. Could be better, but could be worse. Looking forward to seeing them in an arena this time!

It was a frustrating experience getting tickets, as usual... I am convinced that live nation doesn't actually put sections A, B, and C on the floor, or sections 107, 106, 120, and 121 "on sale" at the Toyota center in Houston.... it seems like bullshit... every time I go for tickets to a big show there, the sale doesn't seems to officially start until 5 minutes after the hour or so... something fishy is definitely going on...
but anyway, as long as I get atleast 1 sick drum solo i'll be a happy camper... huge, huge, huge, Neil Pert fan....
On a slightly related matter, I was at the Foo fighters show in Toronto in 2008 where Alex and Geddy came on stage and played YYZ with Taylor Hawkins on drums... it was great, and Taylor is insane on the kit, but I need Pert!

I'm probably going to go to Midtown ATL. But, it's on a Saturday night in September which means that the show will be interfering with college football (Bama football at that), so I'm not that thrilled about it. But, I'm just glad the band is making its way south once again.

I have a ticket.
However, there may be some conflict with a scheduled Baroque concert now... :?
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that that'll fall through!
