    I'm staying with old family friends in Naarden(?) I expect & indeed, intend to use free wifi/whatsapp instead of expensive roaming if/where possible. :)

    Any experienced Amsterdam travelers or locals know much about the Convent Hotel? It's part of the Accor line, looks nice and close to central station. I found a great price through work, and switched my reservation to there instead of a hotel out in the Museum Quarter.

    Seems like it may be easier to get back there after the shows.

    i stayed in a hotel close to that,,u are like less than a half mile from central station,for take the metro to the venue and one of the most bigger streets of the ce nter of the city..great!!

    If y'all know the area keep posting for a meetup! We may think about doing a facebook group since logging in might be easier for some of us from America. ?!?!?

    I will also be in Amsterdam with my wife. We arrive on 6/25 and will be going to both AMS shows. Staying at the Grand Hotel Amrath and are looking for info on pre-parties. It sounds like maybe there is one being planned at the Bulldog? Or am I missing something? We're also going to the Main Square Festival in Arras. Looking forward to my first trip to Europe.
