    The newsagent near my work has a ton of copies of that mag...... I already sent a copy to HeyJose in exchange for some boots..... if anyone else wants me to do the same, let me know. It's well worth it, even if you don't play guitar!!!

    I had em on holiday once in Bali so it was like a holiday within a holiday. Never thought it was possible to actually see things but wow. Thank god we were smart enough to stay in our hotel room.

    Ok.
    this has been an idea thats been floating around the boards for a few weeks now - well really since the Newcastle show was announced.

    now that we have media coverage of our pre-show get together by TWO different networks, i really think that raising some awareness about this cause will be alot easier to do.

    now. i really feel that we should organise this with the ACCA independant from the American contributions - as ALL the money donated will go to the NW chapter of the CCFA.... and i dont know about you, but i really feel that the money we raise in Australia should stay in Australia and be donated to an Australian organisation....
    The Wishlist Foundation are producing posters for the Australian Leg of the tour - however all the money will go to America... i find that really odd.

    I have all the wedding plans out the way now, so i would be more than happy to help organise the fundraiser.... even if it is just sending emails to different people - i want to help as much as i can from Perth...
    i have an Perth 03 poster that i can donate - for starters.

    does anyone else have any thoughts on this?? as the Newcastle show is only about 7 weeks away, i just feel that we should really step it up a notch as far as organising goes....

    Yes I do agree we need to keep the funds in our neck of the woods rather than sending them off overseas, count me in on the fundraiser and If I can be of assistance then let me know, also good on you for putting your hand up, weddings can be stressful enough as it is. I am in the same geographical situation as well, but what I can do, I will.:D

    Thats a good show, i liked it alot, i listened to most of torino today, was pretty cool, tremor christ was definetly rehersed which was good.

    i reckon zagreb looks like a great one, interested to see what gets unleashed in athens,

    After reading whats going on between Caringfan.org, the guy who started all the CCFA posters, and Wishlist Foundation, i wouldn't get involved or start another group raising money for the Aussie shows. it looks like the shit is about to hit the fan.

    i just figured that because the media and MR is on board with us for that show, then we would be able to do it ourselves... without the american organisations - and their feuds....

    plus im sure im not the only one who wants to see the money raised go to an australian organisation rather than be sent overseas...

    Cool, but i think you should look into what you have to do to legitamatly collect funds on behalf of a charity or other organisation. cause i think you might have to do a bit more then to just say, "these funds are going to (insert charity here)" you may need to have the charity send repersentatives or something like that. Like these days you have to give official receipts that show the charity name and all shit like that. cause i know laterly there has been a few people busted for collecting funds for a charity and the funds not making it to the charity. not saying anyone here would do that but all it needs is for one person to wonder about the people collecting money and them calling the police or something and if you guys didn't have any paper work or a representitive of the charity present it could look pretty bad cause it would just be your word that you were gonna pass the money on.

    Just saying i'd hate to see you go to a lot of trouble to organise something to have it turn out badly. But i'm sure you have thought of all that type of shit and i just typed all that out for nothing.
