    (sketched this last night)

    swing down
    can't oversleep
    when there's no reason
    to be awake
    yet i've overslept
    again
so i'll shake off the dew
    and sprawl
    no crawl
no i think i will skip my way
    through another fucking peachy day
fuck 'em if they can't take a joke

    Today, the sun came up.
    Today, I'm here.
Today, I owe much, maybe even my life to a few key people....
Some of them from this very message board.
    Today, God answered a prayer.
Today, I am thankful to all the aforementioned.
    Today, I am alive,
    and thankful to be so.
    Peace, Love.

When people get like that, I always assume it's their own nervousness. They're afraid it'll happen to them so they laugh to deal with the anxiety.

    in my pleasanter thoughts
    I went tonight
and we rocked and rolled it
    to each other
    not like every night
    that you're not here
    comes poetry, comes song,
and for giving all that could go away
    but doesn't
